lower gear so that you will get more torque. also at a very
long down slop, you may shift to lower gear so that you can
utilize the drag from the engine to slow down you car rather
than only with your brake. If the slope lasts 20 miles and
you only use your brake to slow down you car, you will lost
your brake due to the too high temperature of the brake.
That is very dangerous. That is the disadvantage of the
