发帖数: 150 | 6 谢谢几位的回复。其实当时是有给警察打电话。肇事车是商用车。警察让我直接和人联
系处理。现在想来他们是嫌麻烦。没办法，明天再去局子里一趟了。死马当活马医了。
也希望这个case,给其他的朋友提个醒。别象咱一样让人给蒙了。 |

。警察们不管。看来我们的理解还是有点出入。
另外，CWOforms 。您知道如何告吗？告保险公司？告肇事者？我连肇事者的名字都不
知道。怎么告？有典故可以差吗？多谢多谢！ |

Run after the driver. Otherwise you get stuck with the bill. I chased my hit
and run driver and now they are paying my claim. And now they are charged
with a felony while I go about my merry way. I was side swipped by an 18
wheeler. Nobody stopped to render aid so I ran down the driver, got the tag
numbers and called the police. The police will never be of any help. DO NOT
RELY ON THE POLICE, THEY DO NOT CARE. IT IS UP TO YOU TO FIND WHO HIT YOU.
AFTER YOU WRITE DOWN THE LISCENSE PLATE NUMBER AND, IN MY CASE DOT#. STOP,
CALL THE POLICE, GOTO THE STATION AND FILE A REPORT. SENT THAT REPORT TO THE
STATE. In the mean time contact your insurance and give them all the
information you can about the vehicle. After being hit, goto the hospital to
be checked out. Claim you have whiplash and that your whole body hurt. Most
likely your adrenaline will be running and you will not feel the pain at
the moment. You will feel the pain in the days to come. Have them take X-
rays and make a copy of all documentation. Start a file of all documentation
of the wreck and store it somewhere safe. Every mile you drive and every
minute you take to deal with this wreck is time that you should be
reimbursed for. Keep a spreadsheet of it. Keep a log of everything and keep
it stored with all other information. Goto to physical therapy place to make
sure that you are ok. They will take care of you from there. Once you have
completed all medical and damage to your car, then submit your claim and
reimbursement claims to their insurance companies. Sit back and rake in the
pain and suffering money. That is how it is done.
