I picked up my Q7 today to join my XC90 and all I can say is while they
may
be similar in size and spec numbers to a certain extent, they definitely
feel different both inside and in how they drive. I posted pics and a
similar post on 'an audi forum' but honestly for one, it is early and I don'
t want to get into anything with only 55 miles on the car but it's like each
vehicle is trying to be a polar opposite of each other. One is all simple
elegant both inside and out and the other is in your face, look at me, guess
which is which. In time I'm sure I'll grow used to all the buttons and
gizmo buttons/toggles etc in the Q7 but for now I honestly am like the '
simple elegance' inside my XC90. The ambient lighting strip in the Audi is
nice, a more modern take on the under the wood glow ambient lighting of the
XC90 but man, is it button and knob laden. It's intuitive using the
steering wheel buttons and the touch pad MMI system but I do have to give
credit where it is due and the XC90 is quite easy to use, but maybe that's
just because I've been in it for almost a year now, well, 9 months.
Anyways, more to follow in time but for now, like I said on the Audi forum,
pics! Because heck, everyone loves pics, lol.
