Two tricks in negotiating with Audi dealers -
1. Dealers has 4% holdback. For example, if a Q5 has an MSRP 40,495; its
invoice is ~ 38000. If the dealer sells you @ 36K, he loses 2K. However,
he gets 4% holdback, ie, 0.04*36K=1440 from Audi. With that, the dealer
still loses 2000-1440=560, but,
2. If, and only if, the dealer get a perfect score in the post-sale
customer survey, the dealer will get a $1000 bonus from Audi for each car
the dealer sells. With that bonus, the dealer makes (1000-560)=440.
3. That is why the dealer/sales manager is very eager to sell the car and
try hard to make you happy in order to get a perfect customer survey.
Last night, the sales person even drove 1 hour from his dealership to my
office to pick me up. I got a chance to ride in his Audi A6 - a very very
nice car.

You have no idea what you talked about. Getting a big discount from A is
more difficult than from 2B.

I doubt it. Edmunds上有各个dealership的holdback percentage。我在其他网站上查
到的公开信息audi最高1%hold back,福特能到4%,公开的信息中算是最高的了。当然
也许奥迪有其他类似于holdback但不叫这个名字的program,外人查不到的信息。

不一定. 最近BMW3系列刚出2013款,降价范围很小.
四圈圈能降比较多。而BENZ更多。

edmunds上的invoice是35910,你这个比invoice还低一千,
我估计可以用survey哪个1000 rebate来再砍砍?

我这BMW 335Xi dealer主动offer我3.5% off。
再加上1000 holiday credit,能至少谈到invoice没问题

这就是invoice,
看来最近audi north america的统一政策就是可以用invoice卖车
昨天加今天,这版一共三个人谈到了invoice.

你们都是买库存车吗?35999至少也是7% off MSRP,基本是Invoice了。
我Q5要Special Order,因为dealer比较远,一直是发email联系,提了Survey Rebate
和holdback,直接被人无视。
你们都是怎么讲价的啊?

和dealer周旋一天,今天晚上7点发来贺电,3%一分不能少,可以送300 Tint.
Special Order很难讲啊,不打算再磨了,看看能不能再搞个免费Audi Care,就从了算了
和版上大牛一比,真是弱啊,靠,xxsl。

问了,HR说没有任何的discount program。只能看看能不能磨到免费Audi Care了。
