你严格按照手册上的保养做了没?你从来就没换过的话,不能怪车子

high mileage, you need to change all spark plugs.
also, cars are like software, you need to keep it up to date:
- do you have all manufacture recalls done?
- did you follow all recommended maintenance?
- did you ignore small issues like people would a japanese car?
german cars have a low tolerance of issues because they are sophiscated, which means you need to take care of them. |

If he said these German cars are all clicking, he probably has seen a little
too many German cars that are clicking and I am just happened to be one of
the lucky ones.

63000 is not high at all. These platinum plugs are supposed to last 100k or
longer. I have a 2001 Civic with 160k miles and a 2000 Sebring with 190k
miles, never had such problems.

also, oil/filter change should be done twice as often as what the manual says.
NOT 15500 miles, change every 5k-7k miles. |

I always use premium gas, granted though, not all premium gas is made the
same. Still, I've read somewhere that a tech guy at Honda‘s California
center only fills his Acura regular gas and he noticed little difference in
terms of power or anything.
Also, premium gas is not better or cleaner gas than regular gas, it only has
a higher octane rating and some of them may have additives so that it burns
at a higher temperature, which some luxury car makers claim that their cars
will take advantage of, if you google around, you will find that many
people say that's just marketing gimmicks.
