We thought it's useless at the very beginning. But the more we used, the
more we liked it. It's convenienct that the rear gate can be open remotely.
Although it may not be as usefull in sedan than SUV.

when your car is in garage, the gate will hit your garage door.

发帖数: 5576 | 9 If the car is parked properly, the rear gate door shouldn't touch garage
door at all, at least for our garage.
We have 2.5 an 4.5 yrs old boys, no problem so far, sometime they will "
volunteer" to open the rear gate, but only under our permission.
They both are taught to ask permissons to play keys/cars/electric goods etc.

The X5 spec on BMW USA web is incomplete, edmunds is much better.
