这个价钱你必须是真正的市场价，用kbb 显然很有说服力
对方无权只用自己的估价公司， 这个估价理论上要独立的第三方的

insurance是all state，他们用的什么auto source的一个公司，拿了2个comparable的
一个离这38mile，一个有至少50mile的另外一个state
我自己查autotrader，至少有7-8个相近的car，都在7000，附近20mile以内的车，
asking price
报废的车是2001 Camry，117K milage，市场价明摆的在那里，他们说KKB他们不用的，
我如果给他们comparable car，他们也不认，明摆着就是想赖账
我已经交涉一个星期了

凑巧的是责任方和我自己的insurance公司都是all state，这个在IL很多
以后我决定不用它了

Argued and got about 10% more than original offer - settled at KBB (dealer) price.
The first thing is to find a safe (and free) place to park your junk car. Then calm yourself down - do not hurry. Actually, insurance company is the one who is rushing for a settlement. Be prepared for long-time conversations.
Find holes in their CCC value. In my case, I made two points:
1. They cited four cars around our area, all under-valued and adjusted higher. I argued that "sample size is too small" and "biased" - if high-valued cars were cited and adjusted down, one usually gets a higher value.
2. I found cars from the same source they cited and the cars are closer in model and mileage to our car than the ones they cited for comparison. Using these cars will end in a higher value for our car.

你要告,恐怕得有很强的证据说明为什么你的车比fair condition值更多钱.

about $500 difference instead of $2000. I am satisfied enough.

bill 4-5000左右，所以把车价压个1-2000再说，现在人看丫的样子不像要看医生，所
以把车价给提高了。现在丫的反倒高兴起来了。
