been done. Ford took all the credit for being the only one not using
taxpayer's money.
GM was actually not any worse than Ford before the crisis, and Ford did a
very good job on the financial maneuver to hold enough cash to avoid the
backrupcy thanks to their smart management (and that's why Ford's stock was
a very good buy 6 months ago).

gone. GM's cost structure is way lower than Ford right now. When the
restucturing is over, GM will be realized all those benefit. For the debt
alone, GM can save more than $7 billions a year. Not to mention that GM's
union contract is much better than Ford's. The average cost per vehicle for
GM is at least $1500 lower than Ford. So GM can lower the selling price to
bankrupt Ford or invest more money to redesign new cars
