for ssh: download putty, input root@ password is alpine
you can find your ip address:
click Settings -> General. Then scroll down to Network and click on that.

apple tv has micro-usb port, and use ios,
I can view its file system using ifunbox, so there must be some ways to
access external disk via usb.
BTW, I do not think that OP is talking about external disk.
I guess that he is talking about network disk.

在xmbc里面，视频--加目录用windows smb 的方式，不用uPnP的方式 |

Unfortunately, the ATV2 can not operate as a USB host, so hooking an
external drive or any other USB device to it will not work. Only media
physically on the ATV2 and media hosted on the network will be available.

我自己转码的720p mp4就有问题，
但是用 weiphone 下载的for ipad的 720p mp4就没有问题。。。

在windowsxp下怎么设共享?怎么叫"guest可以看到"?
smb那个地方我看到了,但是试验用命令smb://192.168.0.7 (电脑主机地址)总是说
error2...找不到内容啥的....

1. share you folder on windowsxp. go to another computer to check if you can
access the shared folder \hostname\foldername.
2. in xbmc, video, add source, browse your network and find your windowsxp
computer and add the shared folder
