My friend has one 12" powerbook. The left part of palm support IS hot.
I think that is due to its hard disk. Do not know whether it is
5400 rpm though. the battery should be at the right part of the
palm support.
Good side is the battery is really good, long lasting one.
also the keyboard will not containminate LCD like 15" powerbook did. that
is a notorious problem.
another bad side is apple uses an adaptor to support both DVI and D-sub
external monitor. So you will have to bring a dongle(?) w
