做过UW去large group pricing是最合理的选择。

You meant the UW experience is very helpful to be a pricing actuary?

Y*H 发帖数: 1582 | 5 Commercial large group pricing, yes. For most carriers this block is
shrinking so you should keep it in mind when making the decision.
Not to be harsh, just curious why would you ask this question if you have 7
years of experience?

r*******1 发帖数: 153 | 6 I am wondering whether it is worth to do 1 year or so underwriting, if I
want to get a health pricing position in the near future. I am afraid the
pay is not good but the experience is very valuable. Am I correct on that
please? Thanks! |
Y*H 发帖数: 1582 | 7 To be honest with you, commercial large group (fully insured) is sinking imo
and the demand will not be high. I'd be cautious investing a year just
trying to get into it.
However, being an internal candidate is always helpful to get into ANY
actuarial role in large companies. IMO this is a stronger reason to take a
UW role.
A question you need to answer today as well as when you apply into an
actuarial role is, why are you going into health UW as an ASA with 7 years
of actuarial experience? I also don't think the pay will be good.

公司的工作怎么样,有人提醒他工作环境不好。这哥们怒了,说你丫在那工作怎么能说
自己公司坏话,还信誓旦旦说去了公司要把那人开除。。。

answered his questions sincerely. It seemed he never trusted people. So I am
not sure why he posted his questions here. |
