超无聊
经常不知道自己在干什么 兼做没有前途的EXPERIENCE STUDY
想换换方向
个人感觉比较喜欢做跟数学和INVESTMENT有关的方向
各位有啥建议么？
INVESTMENT ACTUARY？
ALM？
ERM？

为啥没前途呢，看别的公司也有这样的需求阿

我还做QUATERLY END的东西
另：觉得EXPERIENCE STUDY这种辅助报告是上不了台面的
VALUATION核心的东西不是RESERVE和FINANCIAL REPORT么？
在VALUATION这边真无聊啊

are as boring as each other,
so there is no point for me to switch unless there is a big raise?

the same especially from my point of view, those are all back-office works.
product development is very different from valuation.
Somebody may argue that a portfolio manager is also about investment and an
actuary can become a portfolio manager. But that is not what I mean of
actuarial work.
My suggestion, go to consulting if you feel your are bored.

got an offer to be a small lead in experience studies responsible for all
study sign-offs... still debating what to do next herself... :(

to life insurance company.
On the contrary, I feel my work in life insurance company is much more
interesting than what I did in consulting company.
The good thing is part of my work related to asset so the interesting thing
is what to related to investment, ERM and other department.And quarterly
report, my department is just to review others' work so I don't have too
much trend update work each work.

or not. In general, when ppl are in their learning curve, it is interesting.
