But doing actual projects will be a lot more beneficial than reading any
books. Try to do some projects with excel. =)

depending on if you are going to join a consulting company or an insurance
company and how old is your direct boss, the starting skills you need will
vary. Know some basic editing tricks, some basic functions and pivot table
would be universal.
Excel bible is excellent for beginners. but there are way too many errors
in any edition of that book. definitely NOT a good reference. |
