The incumbent will be in charge of the accounting and finance function of a
US Construction company with Manufactory in Mexico.
Main Duties:
· Oversee accounting team in Mexico and San Diego.
· Oversee and control purchase & distribution cycle for Mexico
plant.
· Manage and supervise full cycle of Financial Reporting under IFRS
, month end closing, monthly and annual Financial Statements and notes
disclosure, payroll (union & office), A/R, and A/P
· Report to the CEO on periodic operations & cash flow budgeting/
forecasting/variance analysis.
· Deal with Government requests ( reporting, statistics).
· Work with CA firms in completing year-end review/audit, Income
Tax Returns.
· Negotiate Letter of Credit terms, Insurance, Lease Agreements,
and various business contracts
· Provide research and guidance on the accounting treatment and tax
implications of new transactions as the company grows
· Other ad hoc duties and projects
Successful candidates should have the following qualifications:
· At least five years solid industry experience, ideally in the
manufactory and construction subcontractor environment, with at least three
years of experiences at the supervisory level;
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Mandarin is a
plus
· Must have professional accounting designations, such as CPA/CA;
· University or college graduates majoring in Accounting or any
related field;
· Being able to work in a fast paced environment with an attitude to
go extra miles to get the work done before the deadline, which requires
excellent multi-tasking skills;
· Self-starter and problem solver, and willing to roll up the sleeve;
· Experience with ERP system. System implementation experience is a
plus;
· Start-up experience is a plus. |
