证明还是完全有可行性的，在此整理一下我的攻略，方便后人。
1. 去Canada还是Mexico?
在美国是不能续签美国签证的，必须出美国境外，回母国签是最保险的情况。如果种种
原因来不及回，可以考虑第三国签证，一般会选择canada或者mexico。Michigan离
Canada很近，Canada Toronto也是签证热点地区之一。去Canada签需要Canadian 签证
，去Detroit 花75刀可以办个旅游签证，从今年起好像不能当天拿到签证了，要等到第
二天。我去年去旅游，Canadian旅游签证已经过期了，我没车所以来回detroit很不方
便。相比之下，去mexico nogales是不要签证的，因为nogales在美国和墨西哥的边境
，边境一定范围之内是不要求visa的。从michigan飞到arizona tucson 机场，然后从
tucson机场驱车一个多小时到边境，走过边境就离nogales的US consulate很近了。

mexico visa。
本人在加州，F1,签证过期3年，LP持F2,有Multiple Entry美国签证（前不久她回国
Renew过visa）。
今天去墨西哥领馆，材料齐，持有效I20和学校SISS的一份信（告诉Mexico Consulate
我可以用过期visa返美），外加打印下面的规定。

办事小姐看了我们的材料，问了一下她的supervisor，很快就说没有任何问题，留下护
照。按了手印，拍了照片。叫我们2天后去取Visa。

个多月寄回mexico city处理的情况。一直担心我们的机票宾馆要cancel了。
看来没有想象中那么麻烦。

需要MEXICO VISA. 我打电话去LA MEXICO 大使馆, 说用AP 没问题.

今天我的墨西哥之行开始了。之前历经了一些小波折，比如由于美签过期而需要去办理
墨西哥的签证，终于是都解决了。行程安排先到Playa del carmen，游览Tulum，再到C
ozumel，之后再去Cancun，最后去Mexico City，这样安排是出于不绕路的考虑，Cancu
n、Playa del carmen和Tulum三地由北向南排列，Cozumel离Playa del carmen最近。P
laya del carmen离Tulum和Cancun的距离都不远，这样安排就争取少浪费在路上的时间
。酒店基本上都在Expedia上订的，各大网站的报价也都差不多。墨西哥的公交系统还是
很方便的，没有租车的必要。机票515美元，STL -> MIA -> CUN -> MEX -> ORD -> ST
L。
6:20飞机从STL机场起飞，飞往Miami，短暂停留后飞往Cancun。此前一直担心被收走I-

You cannot go to Mexico for first time H1B visa stamping or any kind of
Change of Status. You can only go to Mexico for renewals only. People used
to be able to get change of visa stamped before( I got my first H1B in
Mexico too), but NOT now. The Mexican Immigration website of Tijuana and
Matamoros clearly says that Third Country nationals(TCNs) cannot apply for
change of status visa stamping.

status还在。现在的情况是我好久没有回国了，护照上的last visa stamp 和 白色I94
还是2年前F1的，而现在是h1b身份，没有h1b visa stamp. 这样也可以从Mexico回美
吗？

holder也不例外吗。反正我的US visa stamp还在有效期内，回来没问题。
Starting May 1st, 2010, all foreigners, regardless of their nationality,

need a visa for Mexico as long as they hold a valid US visa and arrive in

得买一辆，这两个地方没车都不方便。
公司给运一辆车。现在的问题是，我是在new mexico买了运到北卡去呢，还是直接去北
卡买？我也知道外州买车税的问题比较麻烦，但是如果在new mexico买自己有车很方便
到处看车，还能早点买，争取12月份就运到北卡去。去北卡买人生地不熟的，房子也还
没搞定。租车至少得1个多月吧，也得花不少钱呢。
大家帮忙出个主意吧，谢谢啦 |

I will have a family trip to Mexico by cruise next Jan. I have one question
for the visa status:
me and my wife: green card
parents in law: B-2 visa, expriation on next Sept.
Do we need Mexico visa or any legal document to enter Mexico? Anyone hase
similar experience?

没有，但是目前是Life_in_NewMexico俱乐部的版主。

首先本人人在New Mexico，而前任版主miami911和版副lllllloooooo（现在又在竞选该
版版主）人都不在New Mexico，所以无法对新来本地的同学提供任何有价值的意见，而
且两人在该版的发言没有任何有价值的内容，全是纯净水，所以本地的网友纷纷离开该
版，来到我建的俱乐部。这次既然前任版主版副都被罢免，所以偶希望能够站出来，真
正的为本地的网友搭建一个交流的平台，而且为来新墨西哥旅游工作的华人提供力所能
及的意见。做好版务工作并且适时开展活动。

明显多了，这周末ABQ开始Balloon Fiesta了，所以为了丰富版面内容，也为了给身在
New mexico和不在这里的朋友介绍推广New Mexico各地的美景，特此征文，体裁不限（
