Tell HR that you noticed the prevailing wage requirement for H1B and you
want to double check with them that the salary in the contract won't affect
the result of H1B application.
I have to say though, it's very strange to state a lower $ in contract and
adjust it up before you start working......maybe they had a typo in your
contract....
