以有preparer或者user请cpa来做，但是attestation只能preparer来做。
但是在AICPA Online Professional libary里面，对于auditing和attestion有2套标准
，而且每一套标准下面都有针对于review的，那时不是说auditing 和attestion区别还
是挺大的？
哪位明白的同学给解释一下吧，谢谢。。 |

就是audit的主题不同了，也没那么多条条框框了。。

accounting and review service,但是我理解的是不是review是auditing/attestation
中的一种么？还是他们是平行关系？ |

1）Auditing 主要、或者全部是针对Financial Statement来说的。其遵循的原则是
Statement of Auditing Standard(SAS)。因为auditing观点的assurance是最高级别的
。所以就financial statement而言，其过程是最复杂而且格式也是最为严格的。而且
审计的观点一般是没有限制用处的。
２）就financial statement 而言，低一级别的审查就是Review. Review服务遵循的原
则就是statement of standard for accounting and review service (SSARS).Review
的assurance就是所谓的limited assurance or negative assurance. 所以在review
服务的报告里，要表明CPA是Disclaimer Opinion的。而且用I am not aware of any
material modification ...放在结论部分。
3) 就financial statement，最低级别的审查就是compilation. Compilation 跟
review 都是遵循的原则就是statement of standard for accounting and review
service (SSARS).但是compilation不提供任何的assurance.CPA是Disclaimer Opinion
的.
4)那么attestation 而言，是针对就historical financial statement 以外的项目服
务的，Attestation服务遵循的原则是 Statement on Standard for Attestation
Engagement (SSAE) by AICPA. 跟楼上大牛们说的一样，Attestation 应用的领域更广
泛，是historical financial statement 以外所有服务项目。
而且，attestation 本身也包括compilation, examination, review, agreed-upon
procedures.这些服务都可以应用到很多的会计领域。
主要的领域有：（以下为引用BECKER）
1）Compliance with law and regulation
2) Compliance with Contracts
3) Internal control
4) Computer software & systems
5) Information supplemental to Financial statements
6) Prospective information
7) Performance, physical characteristics, historical events, analyses etc
比如，在针对Prospective information 的attestation 服务里面就有 compilation,
examination, 和agreed-upon procedures不同等级的服务。
就Prospective Financial Statement 而言，examination是attestation 服务里面
assurance 最高级别的。（Positive Assurance）而compilaton仅仅提供negative
assurance.这里就有点跑题了。:)
所以，最大的区别就是Auditing一般是涵盖Historical Financial Data,中文的贴切翻
译是审计。而Attestation 是涵盖除了Historical Financial Data 以外的所以会计、
经济领域，中文的贴切翻译是审核。
以上纯属愚见，中英混杂，打字不宜，大家就将就看吧。

compilation under attestation, (prospective F/S)需要独立么？ |
