服务。最常见的除转学分及H1签证外，还有考CPA和Engineering license的认证。因为
偶然的机缘，我凑巧与三大评估公司（Wes, ECE, 和Josef Silny）有过一定的接触，
在此与有以上需求的F2/H4/J2及CPA等人分享一些我的经验。虽然很多人不知道这类服务，
但一般人会需要使用他们两至三次：上学，转H1及绿卡，考license，或者需要用国外的
学位找工作。
第一， 三大公司客户服务都不太好，电话经常打不通。有问题可以跟他们发email
，多数都能得到较快的回复，他们都有懂中文的staff或者evaluator，如能打通电话，
可要求与懂中文的人通话(最好装作不懂英文)。这样有什么问题都能得到较细致的回答。
（不过他们一般都不会回答与评估结果有关的问题）如果只是与接线员通话，他们一般
什么都不知道。
第二， 所有的费用，一旦交出，无论什么原因，（除非算错钱）他们都是不退的。
第三， 也是最重要的，我来详细说明一下三大公司的评估政策的异同： |

是的。 他们是专门做CPA的，收费比三大便宜。如时间不紧，是很好的选择。不过，他
们一般要求文件由中国大学直接寄过来（至少目前的网站上是这样说的），且收到文件后还得要四五周才做完。

你的不良印象可能与你的文件较为特殊有关。从我个人的两次经验(regular course-by-course for university and Nursing - NCLEX exam)看（还有我的客户的经验），他们还是不错的，十分负责。他们对文件的要求挺严，certified copy有时不接受，最好有学位证书的原件或者大学的密封函件。成绩单，不用说，一定要原件。不过，只要他们不怀疑你文件的真实性，两周内他们一定会完成（自考，大专，成人高校皆可).如对你的学校没有把握，可上中国教委网站大
学名录上查一下，只要在那上面（包括职大）就应该不会有问题。我知道他们曾给北京
的民办吉利大学承认学分。

美国所有这类公司才几十家。 用任何服务，我建议一定要用NACES member.

另外，最好仔细查一下你所用服务机构的要求。若没有把握，建议使用三大。

不需要。一定要有学位证及翻译。However, if you do attach a copy of your
transcript, you may have the additional sentence "the curriculum of this program was reviewed and it is substantially equivalent to a U.S. Bachelor's degree". (You still apply for a document-by-document evaluation).
By the way, unless your school is really too shaky (like the self-study or
TV and Radio univeristy), this is one service you can use other smaller and
cheaper services, you do not need to use the "three-big".

will send it back to you via first class (regular) mail, typically 3 to 4
days to reach you, regardless if you paid for rush service or not.

For Medical Board exam, not necessary (your school has to be listed in the
WHO list of accredited medical schools). Howevcer, as mentioned before, you
do need an official translation of your degree of Bachelor of Medicine.

To do evaluation, you have to submit both the Chinese degree (means
xueweizhengshu, not Biyezhengshu) and Chinese transcript, plus their

transferred into an accredited Chinese or U.S. university degree program. If
you want to try your luck again, do not go with any of the "big-three", the
best bet is to try one new and small service that is not a NACES member, if
your school can accept that.

the first time. A quick reminder here, try to submit ALL of the credentials
you want evaluation/translation. Silny (and all others as I believe) charges
a brand new fee for adding any new documents once an evaluation is completed
(Silny and most others only charge a flat fee each time, regardless how many
documents you have).
Regarding the order of your name, that is not a problem, the application

show them the originals, most schools do not accept that. Some schools even
request it to be sent directly by the evaluation service even though the
original report were printed in security paper. For JSA, each additional
report is $15 before and $30 after the report is completed.

I do not know what type I should choose in application form, course by
course, or course by course for CPA?

board by your U.S. school. You should chosse cbc for CPA.

not know what is inside the letter.

That is correct. You should pay for an extra copy if you want to know the
content. Most evaluation services (at least include JSA) will not discuss
the evaluation results over the phone.
With sealed reports, most likely not. You have to check with the board's
webiste. They would mention it if they request it to be sent directly by the
evaluation services.

发帖数: 80 | 73 Correct, WES normally requires academic credential verified by Chinese Ministry of Education before they do the evaluation. The other companies do not require that.

also may not. To be accurate, this is for the CPA licensure. To merely
qualify for the exam, there are over 10 states do not require 150 credits.
