2。是不是只用把国内大学开的密封好，盖了章的成绩单和学位证书寄给他们就好？还

想考纽约州的CPA,需要evaluate国外的成绩单。纽约州Board接受这两个evaluation
agency：WES，Josef Silny & Associate. 看了一下价格，第二个好像便宜很多。请用
过的同学讲讲。寄给josef的成绩单和文凭是不是必须要公证过？
如果用WES的话，要不要选那个ICAP服务？要多交45块钱呀。

To add GPA, Silny charge $70, an additional $30 compared when you do it in
the first time. A quick reminder here, try to submit ALL of the credentials
you want evaluation/translation. Silny (and all others as I believe) charges
a brand new fee for adding any new documents once an evaluation is completed
(Silny and most others only charge a flat fee each time, regardless how many
documents you have).

做了评估之后，可以把这个评估结果自己复印然后拿给学校吧？因为评估结果上面不是都有
josef silny的盖章和序列号么，学校应该承认吧？
还是说，评估的结果也要josef silny的原件，学校才承认？那我要申请几个学校，岂
不是要从josef silny买很多copy？

If you have a U.S. master's degree, you should qualify for 150 anywhere you
go (after adding the U.S. credits in the U.S. transcript sent directly to
the cpa board). Otherwise, the best choice should be WES. If you think WES'
document requirment give you too much hassale, then I would pick Josef Silny
.
By the way, for all the accounting boards, the principle "long live to scord
60" can be applied. So long you have a grade of 60 or higher, the course
should be recognized.

以下是对几封信件的回复：
1）国内的军事院校及一些研究所不在教委名单中，但也都被承认。至少在Silny及WES
都没问题。
2）一般而言，转学生（包括高中及大专），都需要course-by-cousre evaluation.
(与我们相关的留学业务主要是国内高中生F1私校入学，转公立，及相应的学费豁免。）

Did not have much contact with TX. We did hear believe some other boards in
TX (such as Engineering) look into that, I am really not sure about
Accounting. One way to tell is to see if they accept WES, SILNY or FACS. If
they do, then it should not be any problems. If they say all the courses
have to be listed in an official accredited American university as
transferable credits, then no.

不知道在哪个版上发，想来想去觉得自己是陪读过来的，就到这个版面发吧。
刚考完托福，申请这里学校本科。学校要求我把国内本科的学历做认证，然后我就把本
科的成绩单邮寄这个公司Josef Silny & Associates, Inc，进行学历认证。
可是，我比较担心我的成绩，大一大二学的一般吧。可是这边学校的advicer说我必需
拿到D，才算通过，如果不通过，我也不能上学。呀，把我吓了一跳。这下可好，这几
天心里七上八下的。
我就是想知道这个评估本科成绩是怎么个评估？是不是很不容易过啊。还有如果想上
学是不是所有学校都要求评估本科成绩，不过，依旧不能上学呢？版上有知道的XDJM们

到网上GOOGLE一下，各地都有专门的公司办．最好找ＬＯＣＡＬ的，一般会需要检查原

Sorry for the late reply, did not go here often.
For Silny, I believe they charge $40 for gpa, but they charge separately for
undergraduate and graduate level courses.
And, for educational and cpa, they are in totally different format, you
cannot use it for both purposes, you have to request the service separately

不对,你需要 foreign credential evaluation, 证明：１）你的学校非夜鸡２）你的
program是正式的（非拼凑的进修班）３）你的学制学位等同于美国的何种学位；
Josef Silny 算是很好的，不贵，较快（非加急两周，强过这行的龙头老大WES太多）
，不过与大多数
公司一样要寄学位证原件；我们律师用过本版有人提到的这家公司更快捷：
www.aet21.com/report　他们通过网上验证，所以不用原件，非加急一周可交活．

自己翻译貌似不行，不过可以找朋友翻译，然后去银行做个公证，但有风险，申请有可
能被拒。最稳妥的还是找翻译公司搞一下，比如Josef&Silny,但有点贵，还慢；或者找
小点的公司，American Education and Translation Services。不管找哪家，看看是
不是ATA会员，是的话比较有权威。

这个你得办foreign credential evaluation, 用来证明你在国内上的不是野鸡大学，
不是
上的进修班，还要确定一下这个国内的学位与美国的是否等同。
一般的都会找三大评估认证公司吧：Wes, ECE, 和Josef Silny。 WES用的人多也慢，
而且都要寄原件。

是否应该在表格上注明寄给Board才行啊，可是这不是明摆着的吗？还有楼主应该出来
评估费还付一个15刀寄给Board的钱才行吧。。。我也正想用这家那，貌似他比较便宜

我要是没有双学位，就要去补学分了。现在反正够，也就不和他们理论了。粗看之下，
发现他们打折的标准是数学经济类的学分4学分都算3.33，英语类4算3，文科必选课4算
3.33，专业选修课4算2.5，公选课4算1.66，体育课4算0.75。或者还和成绩有关？不太
确定。总之只有文科学位学分在150左右的同学要慎用这个评估机构。
