了也没半点消息。

你老公是不是writing或者英文方面不够完美...
不过说实话,MBA ACCT跟单读ACCT是不一样的

satisfy the requirements for CPA because the MBA program designed
specifically for CPA.
2. He does not need sponsorship for GC, he is eligible to work in US with
his EAD.

Yes, his English is not perfect, however, not very bad at all comparing to
many of his Chinese classmates.
As far as I know, the MBA program he graduated from was designed according
to CPA course requirement. I guess that credentials may not be the major
concern. Furthermore, he only got two on-site interview for the past year.
Therefore, his "lack of luck" is not totally due to his English proficiency.

level, what qualification you have to make your resume stand out beside GPA
? I am not even talking about interview. He has been called for interview
for a total of two times.

POSITION等着.经济形式不是太好是真的,ENTRY LEVEL不是很容易找.
但他有身份,LOCATION算很好的,如果有很多INTERVIEW机会,
而他没有把握住,肯定是INTERVIEW出问题了.
GPA4.0也好,3.9也罢都不是决定因素,和3.5没有本质差别.
LZ千万不要为成绩那么好找不到工作而感不平,在多数美国人眼里,
3.5的GPA已经说明你非常有学习能力了，3.2已经也很不错了.如果他在学校有GA/RA
POSITION，会让他简历好看很多.而ST JOHNS的RA还是很容易申请得到的. |

I suggest that you may ask some experienced people to help your husband
modify the resume. It will be totally different.
To have the first interview/phone interview, resume is the first step.
Then you have to prepare your interview very well, especially any issues in
your resume, they will ask you a lot of questions based on your resume. |

4我觉得挺好的，拿4会让人觉得这个人只是书呆子，在其他方面能力差，因为维持第一
要比第二花费更多的辛苦。
现在可以找熟悉的professor帮他refer,譬如Fitizsimons，他好像蛮喜欢帮人找工作的
，很热心。也可以找朋友，同学现在在公司里做的refer。
想进public的话，考过cpa也会有帮助。
最后，今年的市场整个不好，该跳槽的时候都没人跳槽，自然招的人也就少了，所以也
不是你老公一个人的问题。不要着急，只是现在好的机会还没到。 |

started the program at SJU, his
status is H4, therefore, the department took his GA position away just
because of that.

发帖数: 433 | 38 我感觉是个fit的问题。如果你老公想到accounting firm 里做审计或者税务， 恐怕不
是一个good fit. 这种职位得entry level喜欢招新鲜本科生, experienced level 就
是再firm 之间互相挖。 MBA 的话，做这个的入门职业恐怕不如MＳin accounting /
taxation 专业。 如果你老公这么想去firm,以前又有工作经验的话，我觉得可以试着
找管理咨询方面的职位。
老实说，你们有这么小的孩子，如果没人帮忙，你自己也忙的话，你老公去firm工作对
你们的家庭真的很tough.

我自己总是超级的忙，也不指望一时半会儿会轻松下来。可是更不愿意看见自己的LG事
业没发展。 小孩一直是外公外婆爷爷奶奶轮流过来帮忙，且再过一年就可以上daycare
了，不是大负担。
只是不希望让孩子他爸觉得心里不平衡。
