标 题: 调研了一下清华最近回去的PI

云老师发了个贴说清华目前的找人标准，很多人不相信。特地调研了一下清华生命学院
最近回去的人的情况，如云老师所说，绝大多数都有2cns，如果只有一篇cns，那基本
上还有>2的子刊。这个不仅仅局限于胖老师经常说的结构生物学，而是所有方向都基本
如此。
当然这些新回去的绝大部分都是千青（有些不是的是因为回去那一年千青还没开始）。
网页上的Title有的是教授，有的是研究员，估计当时还没有统一。但校内一律都是副
教授，也就是相当于这边的AP。我还特地打听了一下，国内的TT制度好像没有Tenured
Associate这一档，清华5年考核通过了就是正经的full professor。
有些老师看不上国内的科研，我就仅列出两位回国后的publication，咱就不说颜宁等
这种Early T的个例了。说两个没太有名气的，还没有评上T的，各位老师可以参考一下

这里有诱人的机会，也有强烈的文化冲突，去中国求发展并非一个可以轻松做下的决定

Xiaolai Zhou暂时停止在国内找工作了。他生于中国，现在是美国佛罗里达州梅奥诊所
的一名助理教授。可是，在国内获得教授职位没有他想得那么简单，要不要回国，他还
需要再想想。他说：“我已经出国7年了，一直很想家，很想回去。但
是要考虑的个人因素有很多。”
和许多其他人一样，Zhou认为国内的工作机会与国外相比，就算不是更胜一筹，也是旗
鼓相当。但是因为竞争激烈，他一直没能在一流大学找到一份工作，也不能保证可以得
到和国外同等的工资和经费资助。现在，他开始重新思考回国的意义。他说：&

现在，有成千上万的海外中国学子考虑回国，Zhou只是其中之一。直到本世纪初，中国

感谢以下学校的placement原始信息。
以后你想成为什么样的人？
现在还有机会思考或者yy。。
不过呢。。如果你想继续phd。。并且。。是在一些10～50之间的phd项目度过5年或者
更多。。那么以下也许是个不错的信息。。用来估计以后会是什么样的日子。。而不是
去畅想。
当然。。也许你想找个跳板继续申请phd。。于是luckily。。这个list里的学校基本属
于大多数跳板。。即使说某些号称极好的跳板。。最多能保证你的学校层次。。所以。
。对你来说。。也是个参考。。
永远不要想着自己是个例外。。只要搜一下这些人的背景你就会发现。。要有例外。。
他们中的大多数应该比你更容易遇到例外。。
这几个学校的placement都不是最全的。。应该还有一些没有被place的人。。但是几乎

each chapter begins with a brief overview of the key concepts (like a quick
refresher), and each problem is solved in detail, with the solution
providing a clear logical path to the final answer.
And unlike Crack, Zhou does not tell you "if you cannot solve this on your
own, consider yourself stupid" -- that's the most annoying thing about Crack
's book.

根据2007年研究，山西陶寺遗址的龙山文化居民中，上层贵族100%为O3类型，而根据

1995年就回国了，那个时候国内的环境有多差不用说了吧。这也快20年了。比饶益
2007
年才全职回去多了12年。比起培养的中国学生也多多了，算国内贡献肯定不会小。如果
他一直留在国外，成就未必就比饶差。谁把饶益的文章列一列。国内多少篇，总共多少
篇，培养了多少中国学生？

组织得很好，也比较紧凑，唯一不好就是午餐太crappy，不过$120的会费也就不埋怨什
么了。
首先开场的是中国证监会的祁斌，演讲既诙谐也很抓住听众的心。他总结中国的情况是
“问题很多，干劲很大”，欧洲的情况是“问题很多，没有干劲”，下面观众大笑。祁
斌的演讲主要是英文，但是讲笑话的时候换成中文，估计让台下老美颇为郁闷。祁斌特
别地指出了中国各行业的垄断水平（前几名企业的市场份额）远低于国际水平，所以他
预言将来会有很多并购。
第二个的是黑石的Byron Wien，索罗斯的老哥们，我觉得老头子是属于old school，不
相信乱印钞票，对美帝政治乱象极其不满。Byron推荐了一个asset allocation，就记
得对冲基金20%，私募基金10%，黄金5%，印象深刻的是美国国债0%。感觉他和格罗斯都

華人民共和國時期的論著[1]。究其原因，一是史料缺乏，二是問題敏感[2]。然而，研
究1950至60年代中朝關係的歷史，邊界問題無論如何是繞不過去的。為此，筆者盡力查
找了中國外交部和有關邊疆省區的檔案、台灣國史館和外交部的檔案，以及韓國學者公
布的相關檔案文件，以期對這個問題有所交代，並做出中國學者的解讀。
一 歷史遺留下來的問題
中國和朝鮮對國界線的劃分有爭議，屬歷史遺留下來的問題，而影響問題解決的主要有
自然地理和民族感情兩方面的因素。
在中國明朝和朝鮮李朝建立之初，兩國已確定鴨綠江、圖們江為界河。兩江皆發源於長

One of the victims killed by blasts at the Boston Marathon on Monday has
been identified as a Boston University graduate student.
Lu Lingzi (GRS’15), a graduate student in mathematics and statistics, was
one of three friends who watched the race near the finish line. Another of

2005年初的时候，海外一位前辈高人在新语丝上发文“中国留美女教授们”，集中点评
了十八位在美国各大学任教的华人留美女教授，如今八年过去了，当初2005版留美女教
授中的绝大多数助理教授已经拿到tenure或是提升为正教授了，而2005版中的副教授、
正教授由于学术上的成就很多都已经被选为美国科学院院士，HHMI, IEEE Fellow, 系
主任，有名号的冠名讲席教授等等。同时在这8年中，随着中国出国学生不断增多，华
