From Dec 30 to May 14, these big 4 had very similar trends.
However, interesting to notice that since May 15, the trend divergenced. BP and Shell up while XOM and CVX down.
Is this because of USD rate fluction?

上周跑去community bank问有没有比money market更高的保险的存款方式,银行立即就
推荐了一个Templeton fund,说年利率有7.5%左右。但是一问,说手续费要4%,感觉太
贵了。
所以上来问一下说,一般手续费多少比较合适?
而且该怎么看这些推荐的mutual fund,第一次接触,虽然银行说的天花乱坠,但是觉
得还是有点不靠普。 拿来一些资料回来看,就是看到列出以下的表现

you refinance before the 5-yr matures. After 5-yr, it is sth like: index (
this fluctuates with market) + Additional rate (this is written in your 5-yr
arm contract, sth like 2.5% (or 5%, I make up this number) above index) +
Another item (I forget the name of this). Basically, unless after 5 yrs,
the rate is really low, you probably need to refinance... |

by law, prop assessed value (AV) supposed to be reflective of "mkt condition
", not necessarily the "mkt price" (MP). MP could go up 20% a yr like in
the hay days but AV is limited by 2%. If you own your house long enough, AV
is most likely NOT reflective of the mkt--usually lower. it's to the owner'
s advantage.
vice versa, in a 20% declining yr, AV will not drop 20% a yr. it has to
