secure card, which is a small hardware, will generate logon code everytime
when you logon. But institutes normally don't block sshd.
Could you logon to his workstation if your machine is in the same network? And
what is the result if he tries to logon from his own workstation? What's the

installed solaris 9 4/03, and the USB disk is formatted in FAT32.
My problem is:
1: Machine can find the USB disk (type "cfgadm"), and files /dev/dsk/c2t0d0s0
to /dev/dsk/c2t0d0s7 are created. But I cannot mount any one (I/O error).
2: It is ok to connect the disk to Sun workstation permanently, and format
the disk to unix file system. But how to do it? I do not even know format
which disk from c2t0d0s0 to c2t0d0s7.

as long as the communications are not the bottleneck, it's still fine.
generally, for parallel computing 100M is a little bit low. 1G is ok.
The beowulf in my school is planning to use 10G between nodes.
My department have tens of sun workstations...I installed MPICH
in my home directory, then turn all of those workstations as a
cluster. However, since those workstations are owned by department
for classes, I can only use them from 5:30pm to 8:30am. Another

，人称 cube，这电脑产品名如果不是 NextStep 的话，那就应该是叫 "Next"，是个当
时属于 workstation 级别的电脑 --- 后来就没有所谓 workstation 级别的电脑了，
都变成 server 级别了。它的 OS 叫做 NextStep，它是个 OS 不是软件库。
Next 的外表让人惊艳一下，大概两尺的正方体，浑身黑色，没有什么显示灯。当时是

主板坏了。说帮定一块主板就好了。过了10多天，我就打个电话去问，回答我说他们
order过来的主板是坏的，要帮我花些时间去总部重新order块主板了，这里已经没货了
。然后又等了好多天，再次打电话去，说是第二次他们order的主板是好的，装进去才
发现第一次order的那块坏主板把原先好好的显示屏烧坏了，所以这次新order的好主板
又被显示屏烧坏了。然后说现在总部很难再订到主板了，就不收我检查费，让我把电脑
领回去。
修个电脑,来来回回一个多个月,非但没修好，还连带把17寸的显示屏也烧了，买来时
5000多刀。工程严重耽误不说，被老板骂，不得不新买了个别牌便宜些的workstation
继续。几年来的东西都在原先ibm的硬盘里,装到别的电脑没法解密。
除了自认倒霉，有办法让他们进行一点补偿吗？谢。 |

，IE 8，这些老程序就用不了了。我track了一下，就是到打开数据库cn.open(connect
_string)
的这个地方IE左下角就出现 javascript error
Safety Settings on this computer prohibit accessing a data source on another
domain.
以前每次装新机器在XP下也出现过这个问题，只要enable IE security里的Allow Data
Acces Across Domain就可以了。可是这次尝试了修改IE的setting，或者修改ODBC
connection的 Provider成
Provider=MSDASQL;DRIVER={Microsoft ODBC for ORACLE} 而且还在workstation把
server加到trusted site里了。可是都没用。搞了好几天了都没进展，现在星期天了还

Linux 支持可能比不上 Dell 这些大牌子,但性价比绝对高,一样性能的workstation

(WIN NT WORKSTATION)
我设置了ODBC数据源，比如叫test.
然后使用如下语句：
set cn = ....("ADODB.Connection")
set rs = ............Recordset...
cn.Open "test"
至此按理应该可以打开数据库访问。
但是实际上是被拒绝访问。
同样的语句在win 95下是可以的。
不知道NT WORKSTATION下需要设置什么才能访问？
感到很迷惑，请指教，谢谢！
