programs.
Then i rebooted it, it shows "maks.ext3 can't resolve UUID=..............."
error and drops me into a repair shell.
I googled and found a workaround which is in fstab replace UUID=*** by /dev/
sda***, as shown below,

workaround is to install gconf-editor and modify it.

Linux 下的 32bit memory limit 是 4G Virtual address space per process, low
memory 840M reserved for kernel, PTE etc. 实际的 physical memory 可以扩展到
64GB depending on hardware platform.
所以在 Linux 下，32 bit 唯一的问题就是 process 不能一口咬 大于 4G 的 memory
, 但也有 workaround. |

1. Add the following line to /etc/fstab
/dev/sda1 /mount/usb vfat noauto,defaults 0 0
2. Then add this line in /etc/rc.d/rc.local
mount /dev/sda1 /mount/usb
But still I don't think it is recommended to hard code each usb device for
automount. The best solution would be to figure out what is wrong with the
UDEV setting. |

白出了什么问题？fix作了什么事情？明白个大概齐并不难，可是这里面的水可不浅。
好比会装机，在一些人眼里就是高手，咱认得啥是CPU啥是硬盘，干什么的也明白——
可是amigo培训两个小时也是一样的水平。
解决问题的同时确实能学到不少东西，而且解决完问题很high。但是有时候确实很花时
间，甚至耽误事，况且这也不是学习的最好的方法。 |

workaround is to substitute the path in the tar ball with your desired
path. |

我死活用help->install software装不上indigo, 缺省是galileo，非常老版本，是可
以装的。
workaround:
直接eclipse.org下载安装，然后sudo chmod 755 +R eclipse，就可以安装高点版
本了。
ubuntu的respository非常老，而且装不了新版本。 |

installed, not much diff since I used classic gnome desktop.
had hard time to resize a window, until google says use "left alt+middle
mouse key", good workaround. not related to 12.04 directly tho. I've hated
aiming my mouse to resize for damned long! |
