all woodworking is done. I planned to stain the speakers Ebany, which is
basically black. but I don't really like the rather fakish color of stained
wood and the prestain I used on the speakers looked really pleasant to me.
so I just left them that way. I will apply three coats of polyurethane in
the next two days and build the Xovers adn test the drivers tomorrow. Sunday
will be the big day of gluing damping foam, soldering all joints, and
screwing everything together.

发帖数: 187 | 42 第三天的目标是完成整个Frame。除了象民工一样钉钉子，拧螺丝。
还要在接一个34-Feet的EdgeBoard。三块板要连成一条直线。由于
Joist Wood的自身缺限，保持直线几乎花了我们一整天的时间。
放最后一块17-Feet的EdgeBoard之前，又把所有的直角重新
确定了一下。建Frame的过程中用到了许多的Clamp来加固和CornerClamp
来确定直角。
有人问我用的是Nail还是Screw。我用的是8D Galvanized nail。Screw到
现在为止大概用了4磅。主要是用来连接两条长木板（Joist）用的。
关键部位用的Screw比较多。如果全都用Screw比较好。但是比较费时。
有人问我为什么选择做Deck而不是铺水泥。我喜欢出了Living Room不下
楼梯的感觉。铺水泥或者Paver需要一些专用工具。我没有PickUp，运输
是个大问题。而且铺水泥没有了WoodWork的乐趣。
有人问我如何保证土地不沉降。我的后院SitIn两年多了。走过一些比
较重机械。我用了比较多的Post。受力比较平均。颁发Permit的Engineer
也认为应该没有问题 |

Drill 3/4-inch dog holes in line with the built-in dog of the woodworker's
vise and for other uses. I have 5 holes in the outer jaw of my twin screw
vise and a grid of corresponding holes in the bench top. I originally used a
5-inch spacing, but have since added some intermediate holes. After
drilling, coat the holes with the marine epoxy. Again, this is to toughen up
all that plywood endgrain. After the epoxy cures you may have to clean the
hole surfaces with a round file. |

apartment是那种普通的2室一厅，我们搬出前仔细的清洁过，除了窗户确实没擦（没想
到这个也算），其他都很干净。墙上也从来没有弄过任何痕迹。
我们觉得房东overcharge了清洁费，但我们搬出前没有拍照，没有证据说明当时我们弄
的有多干净，搬走那天房东也躲着我，打电话也不接，我们也没多留个心眼。
现在这种情况我还能做些什么吗？能上小额法庭吗？有胜算吗？对方是一个公司的
