看来版上有很多人对律师这行还是没有彻底的了解。
我打个比较通俗易懂的比方吧，干律师，跟当小姐没有本质的区别。你先别激动，现在
这个社会，笑贫不笑娼，国内夜总会的头牌，一天挣的比这里的硅工一个月的还多。要
当大律师，想戴big wig，先要死心塌地地决定出卖灵魂，这个弯转过来了，早死早超
升。
为什么说律师和小姐一样呢？
首先，律师和小姐都是按小时bill的，而且billing rate还都差不多。所谓AMLAW 100
，就是后台硬，名气响，装修好的大场子，里面的小姐质量和安全都有一定保证，好的
场子还有ISO认证。当然，对客户收费也高。因为在大场子里面的小姐收入高待遇好，
一般也不缺活，而且也不用自己出去拉客，还有专门技师培训十八般武艺，所以刚出道
的雏（3L)都想削尖了脑袋近大场子，一来在同辈之间脸上有光，二来好歹也能见识见
识大场面，有机会服务大款客户，学学活计，万一以后自己要跳槽或单干了，也有吃饭
的本事，没准还能有机会被包养（做in-house）。

发帖数: 142 | 3 在美国诉讼这条路对中国人走不通，时间长，来钱慢，风险大，life style sucks。这
些话，做诉讼的人不会告诉你，他们要是跟你说着些那不是打自己的耳光？
诉讼律师是要从trial干起的，不会trial只会写motion做doc review 的，每年从法学
院毕业的人大把，在大所里面看上去风风光光的整天写motion和brief的associate们，
最后crash landing都是迟早的事。
学做trial，在律所基本没有机会。律所的每个案子都是几百万，怎么可能拿来给你练
手。所以要做诉讼不是不可以，但不是这么做法，得先去public defender office, DA
office, JAG等等小屁案成堆的地方练起，等把诉讼里面从头到尾的技巧都学到，变成
诉棍以后，再到律所去。
所谓华人在美国当诉讼合伙人的，基本上都是某个粗腿big wig的催办儿，也就是个高
级associate，手里没有自己的book。离开了那个粗腿，只能喝西北风，而且这样的人
没法lateral。

不过这是比较个人的意见看法，分享一下，无意争辩孰是孰非，孰更正确
孩子学琴，还是从钢琴学起比较好；因为可以学一些乐理etc 很基本的东西，不管以后
学什么都用得着，以后转什么都很方便顺手 :)
上小学（6，7岁）开始学比较靠铺，孩子要有兴趣，最好也能够有每天练习的定力；如
果娃娃能够自律每天在比较固定的时间写作业，那TA也就比较ready 开始学琴了
