This is exactly what happened.
BUT:
The jobs and wages were created in the East, which is far more dynamic,
wages are lower and profits are higher.
The investor gets the best returns on his investments almost anywhere apart
from the US due to its high costs of living with rent, healthcare and

of the classes in the society. i don't think GB are proposing higher
marginal tax rate on regular income. all they are saying is higher taxes for
wealthy people so they pay the fair share to the government. 15% long term
capital gain tax, and 0% dividends tax, is the reason why the wealthy is
getting super wealthy when the middle class pays 28% on the dollar. |

了。实际accredited investor不受法律保护的presumption就两个：一个是自己懂行，
，但已经有大量证据，很多人根本不够financial savvy。一个是有可靠的resouces得
到咨询。第二个pressumption才是真正站得住的理由，但问题是很多人觉得自己够
savvy，舍不得花这个钱。或者就是太轻信他人（上面已经有实在的例子），街上的人
哪个不知道independent advisor就是个幌子。香港好多advisors和sales金融知识或者
少得可怜或者揣着明白装糊涂，能糊弄一个是一个。
定义的历史我也说清楚了，这么多年过去暴露了无数的问题，为什么不提高标准？两原
因，一是我说的内部原因，抓住人性弱点留一个空子让人钻，二是社会大众不care这个
漏洞，黑吃黑没人同情。
SEC在04年就propose要把accredited investor的标准提高到USD 2.5million，改动这个
标准会把美国符合条件的从8%降到1%，但结果就是受到反对，没通过。

首先，我为华人的政治觉醒而欢呼。美国的很多口号，都是不错的，比如机会均等（
Equal Opportunity)。但是实际上，远没有切实到升学，职场和政坛的实处。华人的机
会，可以从一句俚语中窥见一斑（Chinaman's Chance) 华人在美国，无论上班或者做
小生意，都是兢兢业业，与世无争，甚至于逆来顺受。上一次重大事件，华人参与了政
治进程，还是1989年六四绿卡的时候。大家参与了，争取了，能够取得共识，无论结果
，都是族群的重大进步，也是对于民主进程的积极贡献。
美国社会虽然有一些优点，也有许多现实的问题。比如花街的贪婪，政府的低效甚至停
摆，医保公司，石油公司，电气公司，各级政府追求高额利润（或税收），造成中产阶
层的破产。在一定程度上，民怨也是逐渐积累。前不久，正当政府停摆前后，高盛公司

其实事件，因为有视频的存在，省了很多口水仗，就看后面法院怎么判了。虽然瘫了的
那个在非死不可上开了主页，想逆转，但是随便浏览一下就可以发现，吐口水的多于支
持的。
这件事对于那个瘫了的是个悲剧，但是对于整个社会来说是个好事。根据瘫了妈妈说的
，我们假设一下路虎没有压过去。
所有假设基于abc的长报道，包括对摩托党以前行径的描述（http://abcnews.go.com/US/nyc-motorcycle-attack-bikers-wife-walk/story?id=20430576）
假设一，路虎被Cut off，停下了，摩托党下车口头羞辱路虎一番走人。
结果很可能是，路虎男包括他家的女性被问候一遍，打电话报警，警察说我知道了，然
后摩托党继续危险驾驶，Cut off下一个人，问候下一个被Cut off的人。最后路虎男回
