底或明年初到期。朋友一直在纽约的金融公司做IT工作，主要使用JAVA和C++。现在他

核期间了，心中开始犹豫，是否下offer有点太冲动了，我们上班在纽约Rockefeller
Ctr 和Grand Central，路上大约要1.5小时，有没有也有住在warren新泽西附近的朋友
分享一点交通经验，这样的路程是否可行。明天就是律师审核的最后一天，如果要反悔
，不知道还可不可以。
我们准备交通方案如下，
1）开车20分钟到summit火车站，
2）Summit到NY Penn Station 40mins
3) Take Subway from Penn Station to Rockefeller Ctr/Grand Central 20mins

Dunellen) 两条线，看你距离哪个站更近一些了。如果你说你可以去summit,那就可以
赶Gladston线，到Stirling. Parking可以到town里面去申请，一般1年左右就可以排到
。这样你可以避免开车去summit, i-78E高峰时间有可能会遭遇赛车。
2 - NJ Transit一般都有座位，应该还挺舒服的，虽然一个半小时，但习惯了也就好了
，现在科技发达，可以在火车上上网做许多事情。
3 - Great Neck确实不错，房子都很古老，但状况都不错，学区，环境也好。靠近
flushing使生活很方便（如果你需要装修/维护个房子什么的，你就知道flushing相对
NJ是多么大的优势了）。 但LI方向的缺点是走向闭塞，做什么事情都要去纽约方向，
一头就扎进车堆里。不如NJ这么交通便捷四通八达。我在NJ生活后，每次开车进到纽约
都头大如斗，出来tunnel都长舒一口气。

实践证明从 WARREN 每天 COMMUTE 去 CITY 中城基本是不可行的； BASKING
RIDGE 也差不多， 累死。
房子这东西一分钱一分货， 贵有贵的道理，便宜有便宜的原因。 WARREN /
BASKING RIDGE 房子较便宜，但去 NYC 上班无论何种方式都很痛苦。当然如果在

那知道还不少小山， 还挺陡的。 不过Warren 给人的感觉还不错， 有一些小的还算新
的社区，估计亚洲人喜欢。院子也有， 不象 basking ridge, 特别的挤， 如下所说，
如果交通不是问题， 还不错， 就是不太清楚Warren将来学区和房价会不会走下坡路

WARREN 有不少新房子，你看完旁边那些“好学区”又旧又小的。到WARREN 再看房就
舒服多了，比较大比较新，价格也是一般中产可以接受的。
就是进城不方便。

比我在的Bridgewater更classy 些，但是less walkable，打酱油也要开车，
不记得有公交站 （山下22 有），火车可以去 dunellen
步行只能在后院转转。有几个小的town center，主要就是居民区。
看个人的preference。
在山上，大的mall开20 分钟车。
下山22 号上有美东，Costco。
有个warren health and tennis club 靠近 78. 可以问问教练 |
