hotwater radiator 需要加热水，然后传导给气。另外radiator 占空间，还有在太冷
的时候，会听到热胀的bang bang 声。但相对来说. forced air更干，所以配以加湿气
。这两都还行。我见过那种steam的，发出滋滋的声音，墙上也有因此产生的变色，太
难受了。
30 屋顶最多支撑两层，现有一层，那你还可以加第二层，可以再用10几年。加第二层
和全换价格上是不一样的。
34. 车厍里3mm 的缝，一般是大面积混凝土浇注之后结晶放热造成的，1cm 的缝应该是

上班的
地方不是很远。 不过29th, 31st再往北， 不去也罢了。 总体来讲你上班的地方可
能不如
Capitol Hill, City Park, Cheeseman Park那些地方好些。 但是这几个地方离你稍
微远
点， 如果不会开车的话。
离Colfax太近也会吵些。 但是Capitol Hill, City Park等地方新的apartment不多。
有很多
是老的Victorian改造的apartment building。 大概 4-6个unit一个building。
过来以后可以自己转转， 感觉一下。 |

新西兰南岛没有什么大城市，即便是最大的基督城，更多的是许多如诗如画的小镇。

南岛最出名的小镇莫过于皇后镇了，几乎可以算南岛的象征。这一天夜里，喵星人来到
了传说中的皇后镇，一轮玉盘挂在小镇山顶，倒影在wakatipu湖上
拖出长长的影子，一片空阔寂廖。
皇后镇后山的缆车应该是大家必去的地方了，的确是名不虚传，风景绝美，经典的皇后
镇照片角度就在这里拍，
站在小镇后山的缆车顶上俯瞰， 这里玩滑翔伞也是绝好之地，和美景互相映衬，赏心
悦目
然后又见蹦极，还有滑翔伞，从山顶还可以滑雪或者自行车速降，周边各类户外运动种
类不计其数。说皇后镇是户外运动门户，真是不假。
除了缆车顶部，还找到一个当地居民才知道的开阔景点，可以拍摄全景图，这里实在太

在craigslist上看到一则帖子，说是Dinkytown靠近明大体育场一个Victorian风格大
house出租，卧室均大于100英尺，价格440-500刀不等，设备全包，条件挺诱人的，我
就联系了帖
主。开始那人介绍了房子的格局，然后发过来一个application form让我填，最后建议
我用west union支付500+的定金和申请费。
让我起疑心的主要是几点
1）帖子上说是房子格局是17间卧室3个洗手间，邮件里就成了15间卧室4个洗手间，这
也能记错？
2）无论我提什么要求他都满足，我说房间不要朝北，他说房间全不朝北；我说想提前
几周住进来，他说没问题。
3）之前也在美国交流过，租房的时要sign很长的lease agreement，而且是双方签字；
这次只填写了申请表就让我用西联汇款，而且craigslist网上说要求用西联付款的很可
能是骗子。
4）最奇怪的是我连续问了他好几次房子的具体地址他都不肯说，最后我说因为
craigslist上骗子很多，你把地址告诉我我想让同学帮忙看一下，他回了一个这样的邮

A： 房子很老，Victorian style. 里面upgrade的很现代，2400sq ft. 走路上学和车
站都5分钟。在比较busy 的街边。
B: 50年的房，房子很小，2100sq ft. 走路上学和车站都15分钟。在比较安静的街边。
这个area口碑很好。冬天是heat by oil. 对这个不了解，不知是不是问题。
两房价钱都差不多，A 的小学比B差一分。
请高人帮忙看看，到底应该选哪个？ |

Most of early built single family houses are Victorian style. Over the years, a lot of these had been converted to two-three family houses. Single houses with big lots are considered luxury houses in the city...LOL..

离hampton那些海滩稍微有些距离，半个小时左右，所以价格便宜一些，250左右一晚。
条件很好，自己有个农场，早饭也不错
主人很热情。我要最便宜房，本来是两间要公用一个洗手间，他直接就把另外一间
block了，这样洗手间就我们用。后面去了那里正好那个周末他贵房间没有租出去，他

发帖数: 4431 | 44 黄石公园，作为全美第一个国家公园，它的美是无与伦比的。至于游览多长时间为好，
根据自己的时间和兴趣，要想每个景点看一遍，至少要在里面玩三天。大部分旅行社的
线路安排都是一整天，走马观花，在几个著名景点前拍照留念，到此一游。每年的黄石
公园线路总是最受欢迎的，今年8月份的线路提前一个月就定满了。西雅图出发5天大巴
团，比起飞到盐湖城、洛杉矶、拉斯维加斯来参团有利有弊。好处是省心，从家门口出
发，5天后返回，不需要经过飞行、接机送机的麻烦，费用低很多；缺点就是，坐车时
间长。好在沿途停留的景点不少。
下面这个线路，是西雅图一帮爱好旅游的老外定的线路，大部分是单身，参团并交友，
线路比我们的长一倍，安排了更多的游玩项目。当然，他们的费用是我们的6倍！线路
供自驾游的朋友参考。

lives right north of Bloor, 2 blocks west of Spadina, among many other
families. I am not saying the Annex is upscale, but it is nowhere near low income.
To claim Victorian houses there are for student rentals is completely
arbitrary.
If the Annex is "dirty, noisy and polluted", your self-claimed high end life
in Yorkville is really not much better.

我觉得，也许就像前面一位筒子说的，很多地方好区坏区离得很近，特别是在城里，就
更明显，可能就隔一条街。
就拿Bloor/Spadina来说吧，Bloor以北是Annex，可能不是豪宅区，at least 中产吧。
我偶尔也看看卖房信息, nice houses start from 1M+ in that area. South to
Bloor is also mixed. East to Spadina is very close to UT campus. Seems to be
a quiet neighnorhood with Victorian houses. I guess a lot of students/new
faculty rent here. West to Spadina, on the other hand, seems to have lower
rent. I guess that area is not that nice.

Brunswick, Georgia (CNN) -- Two teenagers were arrested Friday in the
shooting death of a 13-month-old boy who was in his stroller, according to
police in this coastal city.
The suspects are a 17-year-old boy and a 14-year-old boy, Police Chief Tobe
Green told reporters Friday. He said they are being held on suspicion of
first-degree murder.
Green identified the older suspect as De'Marquis Elkins, saying he will be
