breakfast of 1.5 bagels and a can of congee, my wife drove me to downtown
where the shuttle stop is. There was very little traffic around 5 even if
this is a big race. I arrived at the start line around 5:30.
The weather was perfect, low 50's with a layer of thin clouds. I was hoping

上个周末，俺再次闪电出击！
周六傍晚，向南方纵深挺进！
首站取Virginia的Mabry Mill，
然后达North Carolina的Blue Ridge Parkway上的
Linn Cove Viaduct（盘山凌空而建的公路段）。
再奔慕名已久的位于Tennessee一侧的Great Smoky Mountains，
拍了一个日落一个日出，
一个瀑布一个溪流，
再加上一个John Cable Mill。
最后一路北上归途，直接8个多小时车程回家。
总共两天半时间，奔了1380miles。
一路的美景和劳顿，深深地印入脑海，成为生命中永恒的回忆。

假設如果從東區一帶前往好萊塢會先走10號，這時候轉上101後就會逐漸靠近Downtown
LA，很快就在Mission下高速公路，左轉順著Mission往南，看到1st St右轉上橋，（如
果走60號就是轉101在1st St下，順著1st St往西）這是一座建於1929年的古橋First
Street Viaduct，從橋上看LA的市中心別有一番特別的感受，（另外建於1932的Six
Street Viaduct也頗具特色，6th St接Whittier），過了橋就進入Little Tokyo小東京
，右手邊有Japanese American National Museum和Union Center for the Arts，左手
邊會看到Yagura Tower，這是小東京的代表建築物日本傳統的高架塔樓。
其實小東京這一帶還不小，San Pedro / 2nd的Weller Court的Friendship Knot也是著
名的地標，並有日本第一個太空人Ellison S. Onizuka紀念碑， |

彩，但是给我这样的新手提供了很多摄影的素材。从山川瀑布，到野生动物，下半年几
乎每个月都去大雾山，现在已经可以不用GPS在山里开车了。夏天抢了三次票终于去看
了同步萤火虫，看到的比拍到的震撼很多。秋天去附近的蓝岭公路的看红叶和看人。。
。同时看Nye的书学习拍大雾山的日出日落，为去西南大环线做准备。年底第一次去西
南，走的都是大众景点，除了在Mesa Arch，其他主要的日出日落都看了。在Bryce
Canyon有幸碰到了史老师夫妇，和我们分享了很多风光摄影的经验，收获颇丰。
器材是Nikon D800,16-35G F/4, 70-200G F2.8和50 1.8D。打算用好现在的器材，应该
足够了。
大雾山国家公园(GSMNP)的Cades Cove是野生动物的天堂，也是我去得最多的地反(有10
次吧)。white tail deer最常见，9月的白尾鹿会开始shred velvet为决斗做准备。
Black Bear是大家的最爱，过冬前黑熊Fatten up是最好的时候。Coyote比较少见。清

3. Homestead PA - Boston PA（不是麻州那个波士顿！）
这段实际上就在Pittsburgh市内和市郊。Homestead出发点就在Waterfront mall。除了
那座Riverton Bridge之外，其他乏善可陈，不值一看。而且在McKeesport有些路段在
人行道上。建议忽略这段，从波士顿开始（或在波士顿结束）。
2. Ohiopyle PA - Meyersdale PA
这段大部分路程是沿着河流修的，在树木茂密的森林中骑行。trail的旁边就是
Cassleman River，河对岸是CSX公司（仍在使用的）铁路。风景不错。沿途有多座桥梁
和一个隧道（未开通须绕行）。全长1908尺（582米）高100尺（31米）的Salisbury
Viaduct是全线最长最高的桥梁，景色迷人。

很多电影没听过，大概没有在海外市场放映过。Twin Peaks，应该想到的，David
Lynch 的杰作。War Game，没想到是在这里，这恐怕是世界上第一部 hacker 的电影，
讲一个小孩子用 Apple II 透过 modem 连上了北美防空司令部 NORAD 的电脑，他以为
他是在打游戏，不知道他是真的在发射飞弹。
但列表里少了 Firewall，Harrison Ford 主演，电影一开始的镜头是他开车上班，他
走的路是 Alaska Viaduct，从空中往下俯拍的。 |

这两天成为美国一部新片的大型拍摄场地。尽管连续两天的
间歇性封闭给驾车人带来不便，但亦为多伦多不景气的电影制作业带来生机。
布鲁尔高架桥从昨日中午开始封闭，至今日清晨7时结束，尔
后开放至晚上6时，此后至明日凌晨6时继续关闭。布鲁尔高架
桥是多伦多市内最大的高架桥，曾有自杀桥之称，后经市议会
批准，在桥的两边装上了密密的钢丝。
美国电影Raccoon City摄制组已于昨日下午进驻布鲁尔高架桥，
搭起了场景。据场地经理马修斯介绍，在布鲁尔高架桥上拍摄的
场景，是整部电影中最大的一个场景，将有400至500辆汽车从桥
上通过，以表现居民举家仓皇逃离Raccoon
City的场景。数百辆各种各样的汽车凌乱地塞满大大小小的家具
用品，场面非常逼真浩大。
多伦多是北美最大的电影外景拍摄地之一，也是多伦多的支柱产
业之一，每年能提供 2 万5000份工作机会，相当于为多伦多带来
12亿元的经济收入。许多美国好莱坞影片都是在多伦多取景拍摄，
包括汤姆克鲁斯的“鸡尾酒”（Cocktail）、阿帕西诺（Al Pacino）

1. GAP 翻越宾州中部山脉的那一段风景很好的。
2. 从 Boston PA（Pittsburgh 南边的一个地方）出发到 Cumberland MD 全程 130
mile （209km）。这条 trail 的规划是 Pittsburgh 市中心的三河交汇处作为起点，
但从市中心到 Boston PA 中间还有很多断掉的地方没修好。大部分骑这条线的人都选
择 Boston PA 作为起/终点。因为 Boston 正好有个 parking lot，而且从这里开始
trail 全程贯通一直到 DC。
3. 中间经过几个 state park / Forest，还有不少桥梁和隧道。最长的有 Salisbury
Viaduct（600米）和 大野人隧道（Big Savage Tunnel，1004米）。但是大野人隧道在
每年12月1日到第二年4月1日关闭。
总之 GAP 值得一看。。。想明年春天骑一次 Pittsburgh (Boston) PA ——
Cumberland MD（130 英里，209公里）。网上看到有个老美说他用 9 小时骑完全程（

到foliage去了趟。linn cove viaduct的这个角度虽然被拍烂了，但是还是很经典，
