们的真的很难一时消化。如果说以前西方世界的虚伪和霸权只是含蓄的表露，那么这次
的露骨真是令人瞠目结舌。从对叶诗文的无端诽谤到羽毛球女双事件的最后处理，以及
自行车比赛的判罚等等，无需多重复，其间西方媒体的双重标准让很多人惊诧！这里面
的是是非非讨论的已经够多，其中多次提到了“话语权”，我不禁想这“话语权”究竟
是什么？
当大家知道年仅16岁的叶诗文被无耻恶毒的指责时，相信许多生活在海外的人做过一件
事，就是默默的打开电脑，在google中输入“Ye Shiwen Doping”，无非想看看大多
数主流的西方媒体是怎么评论的，或者说心存一丝“侥幸”地渴望看到有良知的媒体出
来为这样一个单纯的小姑娘辟谣。可是，你绝望了。尽管有国际奥委会的人出来澄清事
实，大多数媒体还都是引用John Leonard的充满偏见的所谓“证据”，即使提及奥委会
药检的结果，也是不忘接连说药检并不能证实她的清白。无法不让我们中国人抓心挠肝
。这是西方媒体“聪明”的地方，他们不会在新闻中直接表达对你的否定，而是通过

前面说过来自大海南边深色皮肤（dark skin）骑大象的，除了大家很熟悉的迦太基的
汉尼拔外，在西方历史上还有一次重要的大象参战的战斗是压力山大和波斯大流士三世
之间的高加米拉战役。那一仗压力山大……就不多吹了。反正骑大象的人输了就是了。
在指环王里面的骑大象的人来自Harad/Umbar。
在指环王里面Umbar的海上力量被称为Corsair。
看到Corsair这个词土人俺想到的是内存和飞机。
但在历史上， Corsair曾专门指北非Barbary corsair。
这些Barbary corsair 又被称为Ottoman corsair，是奥特曼土耳其（又是土耳其！）
在北非的海上力量。
Barbary corsair的基地在突尼斯（又是迦太基！），利比亚和阿尔及尔。
Barbary corsair最牛的的统帅叫红胡子（Barbaros）Hayreddin（还记得骑大象的
Harad人不？）。
红胡子 Hayreddin是土耳其海军最著名的统帅。

重要人物。这个人的主要事迹有：
1，当东罗马帝国皇帝Justin和Justinian的卫兵，组建重骑兵。
2，532年，Battle of Dara。以2万5千由步兵，匈人骑兵和斯堪的纳维亚heruli骑兵组
成的拜占庭部队，战胜5万人的波斯军队。
3，531年，Battle of Callinicum。2万东罗马/阿拉伯联军对2万波斯/阿拉伯联军在幼
发拉底河岸开片，不幸打到半截负责右翼的阿拉伯盟军逃跑。背水一战的东罗马人战败
，很多人在河里淹死。但波斯人损失也很大。东罗马和波斯签订和平协议。
4，532年，平定赛车手导致的Nika riots，在赛车竞技场里面杀了3万参加暴乱的平民。
5， 533年，战胜vandals，攻占迦太基，拿回北非。Vandals从此消失。
6，536年，从东哥特人手里拿回那波利斯和罗马城。大战意大利半岛。
7， 537年，废教皇。
8，540年，拿下哥特人首都Ravenna，擒东哥特人国王。（东哥特人试图让Belisarius

不知道有多少人问过hogwarts和hogsmeade在什么地方，书里说在苏格兰北部的Moray的
Dufftown附近。
Moray的位置如下。
不知道有多少人注意到哈利波特里面有好多苏格兰人名和苏格兰地名，也许是因
为作者住在苏格兰吧。住在苏格兰在很久以前的人是picts，苏格兰又被称为caledonia。
Hogsmeade是大约1000年前Hengist of Woodcroft建立的。Woodcroft里面Wood的意思估
计大家都知道。Croft是来自古德语的一个词，现在用来指苏格兰的小农场。
至于Hengist，这就是一个长故事了。

graves of 95 German soldiers in a joint French-German military cemetery
