would certainly not deny errors in their valuations. However, even
appraisers admit their appraisals are not accurate either. It's a
bit odd to see a realtor has the nerve to say there exists an
"accurate" valuation method. You should know it well that there
is no such thing!

, even when there is a valuation before you start date; e.g., 40 cents vs 3
dollars. Your options are usually from an option pool set aside much earlier
, for well managed startups. Even new option pool commonly have price set
lower than valuation.
Only when closer to IPO, the exercise price rises as fast as valuation. It
is fair.

priced at quite low valuation, since almost everyone wanted to be in US
large cap growth, and in the ensuing 10 years that encompass two terrible
bears (2000-2010), SCV returned near 8% annulized, just below REIT and EM,
two assets with lowest valuation at the time, while SP500 annulized return
was negative.

2. VC is buying 34% of equity with $1M, so their valuation of your company

甚至更低徘徊了。
先说不好的
1. cyou的鹿鼎记比较失败，完全低于期望。根据我观察，热度还在持续下降。下一个
资料片希望有所改善。这个我得自己检讨下，很早其实我就发现鹿鼎记服务器状态不行
，但总是有wishful thinking,觉的还好，甚至给自己找理由。现在想想应该相信自己
的判断，彻底清仓，结果清了一部分，留了一部分。炒股有时候有感情的attachment就
是害人啊，呵呵
2. cyou的新游戏有些青黄不接，下一个重头游戏应该是斗破苍穹，据说这是国内很火
的网络小说改变的。这游戏4月技术封测，估计明年年中甚至年底能不删档内测就不错
了。
3. 中国经济最近被唱衰，昨天王岐山出来讲话，对中概更是雪上加霜。包括bidu/sohu
/sina/ntes这些影响都很大。
cyou的好消息是
1. 天龙八部热度仍然不减，只要天龙收入有保证，畅游的valuation就没有变化。每年
赚2亿美圆这个valuation不变，即使零成长，也是大家hold的定心丸。
