Accepted是说那个学校愿意提供AP职位给他，他也愿意接受。但是实际意思是和他老板
出具的信一样，表达的是一个意愿，而不是称述一个事实。不得不说，他们深得英语表
达的精髓，不去做政客和律师太屈才了

arts college。本科学生质量很好，但总体研究水平比排在后面的公立大学要差不少。
比如这些学校的研究水平排名绝对比他们的本科排名差很多

初来乍到，不知道发在哪个版合适，烦请好心人帮忙出主意。
去年秋天开始女友在申请加州的学校，上个月她收到California State Unviersity,
Long Beach (CSULB)的Master program的Admission，离我的学校还挺近，很是高兴。
于是在收到I-20之后就约好了5月16号的签证，同时把其他学校的申请都withdraw了。
谁曾想，就在我们准备签证的时候，今天早上收到一封International Admission
Office的email，说录取她的mater program被suspend了，签发的I-20无效了。我当时
立马打电话过去确认，说是由于funding问题，有几个program被暂时取消了。跟她们理

more students are thinking of doing PhD in au now. I knew some of students
who is applying or exchanging, they all have more than 2 english papers.
very hard to get chance in good unviersities.
If you can get your paper accepted asap, then get high in IELTS, higher than
6.5, you still have chance. if not, try some not very good universities,
they always have some young researchers can not get students. |

发帖数: 4110 | 23 和你类似情况的一般在Westwood，Sharon，Mansfield， Foxboro，North Attleboro一
带买房子。Westwood, Sharon和Mansfield有火车，连接Boston和Providence，所以除
了开车，两个方向坐火车通勤的也有，比如从Westwood，Sharon，Mansfield坐火车到
Cambridge（火车转红线via South Station）。Boston-Providence/Stoughton Line在
Providence的火车站在State House南，到Brown Unviersity中心差不多半个mile左右
，但是有一段的爬坡路，也可以转BUS。也有在495一带Franklin，甚至Hopkinton买房
。比较极端的我知道一个从Boxborough往Providence通勤的，spouse往Waltham开。这
些镇子各有特点，价位也不同，有相当的选择余地。

后坐到west 117 Street站,下火车出车站,上bus,坐到west blvd地铁站再上火车.
如果中间没有什么耽搁的话,其实从上机场去火车站的bus到火车停university circle
差不多一个小时.
注:这是weekday的下午两点. 不知道traffic hour如何. 还是很折腾的.我还有一个心
得是不要坐在离入口最近的一节车厢,因为有时候火车停站的时候靠入口最近的门不开.
从明天开始(4月21号,周日)redline中间有一段要用shuttle bus替代,可能会需要花多
一点时间,提前计划.
晕,俺是用万能的google map才发现从下周起,从unviersity circle去机场要花差不多
两个小时.希望google map是没有考虑用shuttle bus而不是用公交系统所以对时间的估
计有些偏差. |

第一天，目的地三姨坝，离我这儿８小时，到那儿基本上天黑了，会在附近找个旅馆住
下。如果有童鞋明年还在三姨坝附近，请指导一下，夜钓也可，第二天上午一早钓也可。
第二天，早晨，三姨坝钓鱼，钓到鱼的话，我会拿几条鱼去朋友那儿。下午４点左右离
开三姨坝，目的地Andrew Unviersity密西根。
第三天，白天会会朋友吃吃饭，如果可能会去钓钓鱼。看了一下，
貌似这个坐标41.944854, -86.327552是一个不错的点。班上有童鞋在那里钓过请指导一下。
第四天，早上钓鱼，上面的那个点。下午离开，两个选择，１回家（１０小时路程），
２到大河朝圣（７小时路程）。
第五天（１回家），会到芝加哥或者原路返回三姨坝住一晚，钓一晚或者第二天再钓个
早，下午再往回走。
第五天（２朝圣），会到直接开到la cross，住下，如果麻油组织了别动队，我会尽量
调整时间参加别动队行动。钓完往回走，９个小时，中途可能还得停一下。
５天啊，有点不现实。。。先计划着再说。 |
