真是太可怜了，一家四口都睡在地上，衣服，被子都摊在地上。一件像样的家具都没有。
当地华人社团组织人送去了3张床，2张桌子，几把椅子，2个书架，至少像个家的样子
了。
不知道他们多久没睡过床了。希望他们现在至少能睡个好觉。
已经有老印去骚扰他们了。为了人身安全，现在考虑换一个地方住。
去的基本都是中年人，说着说着几乎都要掉眼泪了。 |

说，却是个很大的数目了。
情况比较复杂，大致如下：

房子的租期是今年6月1日到8月1日，短租的暑假，租金750每月，security deposit同
样的数目。与其他两名室友合租。
8月1日查房的时候房东发现她的granite counter top有一块变色了，很不高兴，想把
整块counter top换了，说要扣留我们的security deposit，会找公司报价之后再联系
我们。她说肯定是我们把烫的锅子直接放在台子上造成的。我们一直不承认。因为那一
块地方是放的调料，从来没有放过锅子。而且granite就是因为抗高温的特点，才卖的
比较贵的。
她说换变色的部分counter top不会太多，也就几百块。
我们当时就觉得，几百块对她来说不多，对我们来说太多了，就据理力争。
首先，变色的原因不明，如果是因为烫坏了，那就根本不是我们，如果是其他原因，倒

It's not wise to let the potential employer know they will be bidding
against other companies, unless you are a super star to them.
You can always have them counter offer after they extend you the offer. Just
simply let company A know you received another offer from xxx company, even
though you are excited about the opportunity, you need to make it

打电话给truescreen，SSN那个没PASS是因为提供的地址和SSN记录里的不match。
SSN里面是公司的，我现在在work from home,在老婆这里，这个M向我要最近3张
paystub时我已经说了。。。因为paystub上是在公司的地址。
但是我觉得这事都不大，感觉还是PHD的问题，因为虽然truescreen已经verify我的MS
学位了，也verify了我那3年确实在读PHD做RA（working experience），我也向他们的
bg check team解释了现在没有PHD学位，可以提供成绩单，但是或许就认定我这方面
cheating了。

I just heard from HR that we are not going to provide relocation for remote
candidate unless they are very senior, and probably not going to do H1 for
most of the cases.
I have tried to convince them otherwise but the engineering team is spending
too much time on interviewing and HR try to narrow down the efforts we

I just heard from HR that we are not going to provide relocation for remote
candidate unless they are very senior, and probably not going to do H1 for
most of the cases.
I have tried to convince them otherwise but the engineering team is spending
too much time on interviewing and HR try to narrow down the efforts we
spend on interviewing.
I will continue to submit resumes for candidates from seattle area and does
not require H1 sponsorship.

If you have card and you want to take unemployment insurance, you can only
be laid off or fired, not resign.
If you are fired because of budget of performance, it is the same as layoff,
unless you have done something criminal or caused some obvious damages to
the company.
Reference check is really depends on person to person. If your boss is not
friendly, he can always say anything even if you quit by your own self. If

Not need disclose your offer status unless you like to.
Take the offer you get, this is so call market.
Jump to a better place as you can, this is so called At Will.
Reject an offer is very easy. Get one is NOT.
Therefore, don't reject the first offer unless you have a better one IN HAND.
You always choose what is the best for you and your family.
