来自主题: Automobile版 - who understand this?
thanks,
my understanding of changing gear is the same as that for a bike.
So, electric car can generate enough power immediately to move a car from
zero speed to a high speed using a small gear. That implies a lot more power
is needed for accelerating at zero and low speed. Isn't that less efficient?
and when the car is going really fast, the gear must over-spin, so it
implies that the gear must be for high speed already.

请问哪位高人有Understanding Analysis (作者Stephen Abbott ,Springer-Verlag 出

今年秋天要读Econ 的MWG那本书。里面有很多Analysis,根本看不懂,痛哭流涕。

我的邮箱是 kazaaerato [at] gmail.com
我不会修Analysis的课,(因为系里没钱让我修。。。)。所以应该不存在道德的问题

What I believe is a good approach for FA analysis is identifing strong
sectors in the near future, and invest in the leader of sectors. You will be
better off. No need to understand their report. For example if you are

I can not agree more.
Industry FA is important, and an up-to-down method is perhaps more suitable
for individual investors, but it also needs very solid or all-around work,
and is much more complicated than a naive bullish or bearish feeling. At
least one needs to have a reasonable forecast on the industry's future
demand and supply trends, cost structure and pricing dynamics in terms of
numbers, and understand what the assumptions are. To achieve that, a clear

Are you assuming GOOG, INTC, AAPL and LMT did not play tricks in

I agree with Kenny on this one. I think your opinion is a little extreme
when you say "there is no industry where cooking books is less difficult".
That is not true. Compare retailer to financials, or say compare Macy/Costco
to Citi/GS for example. I think definitely the former's book is easier to
understand and analyze. True. If the company deliberately cooks the book,
then it has potentially many ways to try. But still, it would kill a lot of
more brain cells for Macy/Costco management to cook

those firms:
1) With long history of profitable and stable operations (at least 15 years)

3) Paying dividends
4) Leaders in their respective industry, or with durable competitive
advantage

Understanding Rainchecks
Feb 12, 2009
What is a Raincheck? A raincheck is issued by a store to a customer for the
sale price of an item when the item is sold out. This allows customers to
take advantage of the sale price at a later date of their choosing. It\
u2019s kind of like an \u201cIOU\u201d issued by the store, so that
customers are able to get a sale price if the stores were not properly

for me, and likely most ppl, trading is to make money. that's the first
target. (It might be a fun thing to burn capital if you have multi-million
to billion). So
What is more important than why, IMO.
you would often hear statement after some stock drops to a certain level and
then rebounce. TA ppl might claim like this
"reached a critical support level and failed to break it, and made a second
attempt(which is often called RETEST) and failed again, double failure is
often a strong reversal sign... 阅读全帖

One more points on interpretation. IMHO, trading is applied science, the
form of interpretation is just like the language you speak, it doesn't
matter as long as it's expressive and logically sound.
You will often hear statement like, "if TA signal matters FA analysis (from
a TA believer's point of view), or vice versa, it's a strengthen to the
signal". I accepted this argument without thinking long time ago.
Now if I understand two different approach as different interpretations of

it

RSI2= 50[1-(P-N)/(P+N)]
