不了解德州的情况，在加州，一年之内被扣4点，或者两年之内被扣6点，或者三年之内
被扣8点都会被吊销驾照。如果德州也类似的话，看上去你不该被吊销驾照。而且你的
这两次违章看上去只应该扣一点。我怀疑你是不是遗漏了uncle sam寄给你的什么重要
信件。
回答你的问题：
1，下个月你就不能开车了。但你可以在这之前去申请restricted license，可以用它开
车上下班、接送小孩；
2，要有钱找一个。估计用处不会很大。
3，不知道你有何冤屈，所以没法建议你怎么申诉。

这里写的只是自己买车的总结，可能每个人每个地方的情况不同，因此不知道是否对大
家有用，但不管怎样，还是写一些记录一下吧。其实自己也是在这个版里面看到以前的
人发的帖子以及别人博客里面的买车贴才渐渐懂得怎么买车的，可能有些写得不对，多
多包涵。
首先是一些原则性的问题，个人觉得，对于买车，千万不能太急，宁愿错过也不愿买错
。另外一点就是，自己手里面有的是cash，车是由自己来挑，dealer是由自己来挑，
owner也是由自己来挑，买不买是自己说了算，简而言之，就是买车要自己掌握节奏，
而不是让卖车的人牵着走。
接着就是说一些自己买车的经历。
最开始的时候自己在网上看别人的经验帖说，哪一些人的车最好不要买。自己整个过程
走下来，发现他们说的还是有一些道理的，不过既然是买车，那不管是哪一类人，自己
都要注意。
找车的信息一般有三种，第一种是学校内部中国学生的mailist，第二种是dealer的网
站，第三种是craigslist，上面有dealer也有owner，但是有些dealer喜欢扮owner来卖
车。

暑假带着儿子回国长征，22天经停了9个城市，在我的家乡也只呆了4天（我父母在我美
国的家里），LP带女儿直接飞回她的老家，没有参加长征。长征路上坐了飞机，高铁，
动车，卧铺，地铁，轻轨，长途客车，旅游大巴，私家车和多个城市的出租车，见闻很
多，感慨很多。
从国内回来一个多月了，感想太多了，多的每次一想写就觉得太多太沉重了，远不如写
足球轻松，就拖着一直没动笔。仅取在家乡头两天的见闻片段写一些回国的感想。
- 第一天下午：巨变的家乡
仅仅两三年的时间，曾经的山丘被推倒了，曾经的山沟被填平了，曾经的山泉和小溪变
成了巨大的人工湖，我找不到‘家’了，我从没想过那座山会有一天消失。家乡我所有

1. I don't know if there is any Audiolab dealer in the US. I have not seen
one myself around NYC.
2. My uncle actually had an Audiolab integrated amp from the late 1980s or

2001的什么假美丽还想卖$8500, 说我发白日梦, 贴子还被顶上了10大. 哇, 那时候我
真的不知道如何应付各种各样的comment. 不过也有好心人, 叫我不用理会, 还给我
tips 应付Craigslist的buyer. 后来, 我的车就是$8000卖出去, 买家还将车开到她
uncle的auto shop 做了检查, 连她uncle都说我的车worth $8000+. |

须是非常非常好的朋友，best buddy那种。‘音乐之声’里的Uncle Max就是一个例子
。还有最近我们这儿新闻里有一个人杀害了自己的朋友和朋友的侄女， 所有人都感到
不可理解， 新闻主播描述的时候就说对那个被杀的小女孩而来说， 这个杀人犯是‘
Uncle xxx', 就是说他与被害人一家关系非同一般。这里的孩子不会对关系一般的长辈
的朋友同事随意称呼叔叔阿姨， 但是真正的世交， 密友， 就和中国人没有多少区别

我只是奇怪没有人提到乒乓球。这是华裔的长项，最有希望出头。看看人家Ariel
Hsing。 不说别的，单单冲她凭着打乒乓球结识了Uncle Bill和Uncle Warren就让好
些人羡慕了吧。:-) |
