some are on the route of UI cambus ( Pentacrest, every 15 minutes ). They
are a little bit more expensive, more or less 300$ per month. |

主要就是不知道iowa city是什么样的一个消费水平，，比如衣服啊日用啊，我是女生
但是衣服收拾来收拾去也只装了不到一个大箱子，鞋就带了2双，，（被我妈臭骂了一

我总觉得穿的用的这些东西本来也爱买新的，在北京去商场买不也得上百么，就准备杀
过去随用随买，这样ok吗？
还有别人新送了一个giant的可以折叠的小自行车，超可爱，狂想带过来，是不是特不
实际啊。。。
还有还有，家里人给准备了n件床上用品。。。搞得跟结婚似的，各种新被子什么的，
有必要带吗？

Most of the students take cambus, though some ride bicycles to climb small
hills, which are not easy for compact/convertable mini bikes. BTW, bikes are
not allowed in downtown pedistrian area. |

construction who just set a spot in UI capital mall is very very DARK!!! You
almost get nothing back from the deposit, be prepared !

(1) If I am TA/RA in ISU, can my wife pay in-state tution in UIowa?
I know that different universities have their own policy on this issue.
(2) If my wife applied in China and get admission to ISU, can she pay in-
state
tution? I know a lot F2 transfer to F1 and pay in-state tution, but I am
not sure what is the case if my wife ccome to ISU directly with F1 visa.
Any suggestions would be appreciated~

Resident income tax. You can either find a local CPA firm or use CINTAX (UI
should provide it) to file your tax return. It's still too early to start
the tax return preparation as you won't have enough tax information until

决定来Iowa了？其实不用现在找，过来以后先找个临时住处住上几天，四处多看看再找
要好点，反正现在经济不好很多人都巴不得在家里租个房间出去，这种临时地方挺好找
的。来了以后再慢慢找合适的免得找错地方后悔。Effciency应该就是一间屋子同时做
客厅厨房卧室的那种，地方小，便宜，不过要是做饭的话估计味道很难散掉。 |
