Report by MRI - left central disc extrusion; cord deformity; flattening of
ventral.
Treatement - None because doctor's appointment is 1.5 months aways from when
the pain starts.
Please advise. Questions:
1. What to do in the mean time while awaiting for treatement?
2. What to expect to do when seeing doctor in a few more weeks?
Please help. Your advise is much appreciated. Thank you very much.

supermarket where they sell dental floss, there are also externally applied
oral analgestics.
You do need to consult a dentist, rather than trying to take antibiotics by
yourself. The treatement probably involves pulling out the wisdom tooth. |

(1) Originally from Taiwan and never having been to China, I have lived in
US for a quarter century. I am a biologist by training, however I have not
kept up with cirrhosis for as long as I can remember--because
(a) I have not had cirrhosis; and
(b) I was a carrier of hepatitis B virus, but after sometime, it dissppeared
(my immune system killed it, as happened to most hepatitis B infection).
(2) The medicine in China is very questinable.

53 yrs old WM, previously healthy, presented with intractable fatigue and
weight loss for 3 months. A comprehensive workup by his PCP including a CT
of chest was reported as unremarkable.
PMH: Asthma, seeing a pulmonologist who reviewed CT and agreed with
radiologist's report.
Soical. Smoker 1 ppd. No ETOH/Drug.
FMH: neg for CA.
ROS: Not remarkable, no diplopia, dysphagia, no fever, no joint pain, no
muscle ache.
PE: Vital normal.

是一个survey问题，有5个答案选项，问control和treatment。这个问卷一年里一共问
了11次。
research manager让我求average count，然后做test比较control和treatment。
我用average count做了chi-sq test，比较出来的结果p-value大概0.1。
然后我自己test，又做了一个count sum，把11次的问卷count加起来，然后比较，发现
chi-sq statistics乘了11倍，p-value变成<.0001
sumcount的数据像这样

How much is her weight?
Although I like lyrica for DM neuropathy, it is not my first choice because
it gains weight. I like cymbalta a lot, not much weight gain as lyrica or
neurontin.
DM neuropathy treatement is difficult. The primary management is still DM
control. Insulin gains weight so I would like to avoid any other meds with
side effects of weight gain. I use metanx as supplement which works for
some patients.

transformation based on the initial presentation.
So elevated BP is from the stroke not the other way around.
The workup should include a MRI/MRA to establish a diagnosis of acute
infarct and rule out anurysm/AVM, respectively.
Treatement would be to moderately lower the BP, like 140/90. Too low would
worsen the stroke, whereas too high would make bleeding more.
