iPad刚刚release的时候，我们去baby r us顺便到oakridge mall的apple mini store
看了看。本来店就小，里面熙熙攘攘，感觉就像北京上海高峰时间挤地铁。又过几天去
valley fair订iPad，虽然没有mini店那么挤，也大概相当于地铁平时的密度。
最近两个星期又去过两次valley fair的店，一次周末一次平时。iPad已经卖了好几个
月了，iPhone 4也出来了两个月了，store traffic应该回归“正常”了。感觉现在平
时的store traffic相当于去年weekend时候的traffic，weekend的store traffic相当
于去年Christmas。

年初的时候开车去南加，那时候天色已晚，路上也没有人，我索性就一脚油门，开到了
小100的时速。
结果没过一会就看见前面亮灯了，过了一会警车追上来，我靠边。 Officer很和善，笑
着问我开了多快。 要走了驾照之后回来给了张 ticket， 还很循循善诱的说，这次他
只写了 90+， 如果直接写一百的话，我就会被当场吊销驾照了。那时候心里暗暗感激
，也后悔自己开的太快。
回家后等了很久才收到法院的传单，罚款也没有我想象的贵（$366 + $73 traffic
school）.就在我准备交钱上课的时候，公司的同事建议我先extend,拖到最后再来个
trial by declaration. 他说他每次都是这么get away的。

真是不走运，拿到一个traffic ticket (violence of signs)， 比我实际的 violence
要轻 （illegal right turn on red). 现在的bail是$235， traffic school $290.
要不要fight? 万一lose， 罚款会更重吗？ 另外这是本人第一个ticket。请教有经验

低成本的，弄个cacti啥的以snmp为构架的monitor,可以看到非精确的traffic，粗略到
分钟（缺省5分钟）
如果稍微做好一点，用netflow/sflow啥的，但需要你的switch支持，我的意思是能有
比较好的performance,能scale到几秒级别的实时traffic，不过好像Cisco自6500以下
的中低端产品，出来的各种traffic一旦精确到秒级别的，都不精确了。
当然，最好的办法是建一个precision network (引入高精度的时钟）， 然后把要监控
的traffic mirroring到一个dedicated network/servers,这个成本大，不少hedge
fund, trading companies 用这个。 |

Looks like the best way is to replicate the traffic to a dedicated logging
server to avoid

impedance function 是由BRP或者其它简单凸函数定义的话，模型的收敛性通常没有问
题。可是当我们在一些link上面设置指定的toll以后，traffic assignment的收敛有大
幅的波动。我们觉得这是由于some big tolls on individual links may dominate
the link cost, so link cost updating in gradient searching may result in very small changes on these links. 也就是说事先指定的较大的toll可能会影响traffic assignment的收敛性.
请问大家在做tolled scenarios时 有没有遇到过traffic assignment 收敛的问题？大
家在理论研究或者实践中是怎么解决的？MSA会不会比Frank-Wolfe收敛效果更好一些？ |

这个地区不久，不熟悉，GPS让转我就转，警察刚好在旁边就上来了。以前从来没有得
过罚单，问了大家说让上庭，看能不能上traffic class，不计点。
本来这周五就上庭了，结果上个周末又吃一张ticket。下班高速路Traffic，我和2辆车
jam，虽然速度慢，没有人hurt，但车都有demage。ticket说我follow too close，虽
然前面的车停我也刹车，但来不及hit。罚95元。这次还involve accident.
这样我去法庭申请第一张ticket减免，是不是就没指望了呢。 |

Traffic Ticket in Flushing
今天拿了5年来的第一个ticket.在northern Blvd 左转上main st.，走进了只有bus才
能转的道，被警察抓住了。给了ticket, disobeying traffic control device. 罚款
可能是$130。但不知道扣多少点，2点或者3点。
1. 请问这个可以plea no guilty马。 有成功的机会吗。
2. 请问这个找律师，又多大的成功机会
3. 请帮忙推荐个律师

回到外州家后收到正式罚单
如果选择交钱有两个选项
1 是直接交钱，扣一点，
2 是比1 多交50块，上traffic school
我想问下是应该选1还是选2？
2的话好像可以让记录不被保险公司看到
但是很多人说一般保险公司不会去查外州的违章记录（当然如果真想查还是能查到的，
只不过一般不会去查），所以选2多交50块又费事是不是不值得？
选2好像还有可以取消扣点的好处，但是加州的点跟我们州的点本来就不等值，应该也
不会累加到我们州的记录上吧？
但是还有一个问题就是假如选了不上traffic school,将来如果再去加州工作，换加州
的驾照的时候，这个之前的记录会不会就还跟到换过后的加州驾照上？
大家建议我要上traffic school还是不上？ |

发帖数: 155 | 33 前阵子收到了一张超速罚单，40限速开到50.当时单向只有一条lane，后面的车跟得也
紧，就踩了一下油门，再带上本身有点儿小下坡，反正就是被逮着了，超速。后来写了
张trial by written declaration寄过去，昨天收到回信，还是被认定guilty，不过罚
金减了100多。后面还附了张request for a new trial，说是要在20天内提交这个申请
。想问一下，这种情况下还有可能上traffic school吗？要上的话是不是一定要先出庭
在法庭上跟法官申请？据说上traffic school还有个什么18个月的限制，是18个月内没
上过traffic school还是18个月没拿过ticket？

amount to attend traffic school）。
这种情况值得上吗？不知道保险会涨多少，会影响多长时间。
以前忘记开车灯吃过一张罚单，当时直接付罚金没有上traffic school，后来保险好像
也没什么影响，不知道超速是不是严重一些。

option. 听说是1）多交100多刀可hold record. 一年内不重犯，就消掉记录。2）上
COURT, 你赢了没事，输了还要交更多的钱加扣点。是这样的吗？求助建议明天怎么选
择？
我的case是 车里有car booster, 但警察看到时刚好没坐在上面。如果上COURT, 我会
说孩子一开始用了booster, 但后来滑掉了，我开车没留心到。请求考虑初犯取消
ticket. 我有booster在现场的照片。有多少胜算？

十多年前，第一次被警察开罚单，前后跑了三趟法庭（第一次登记不认罪，第二次集体
见法官流水线确认不认罪／当庭讨价还价和解，第三次和警察法官面对面fight），给
dismiss掉了。
刚刚，第二次被警察开罚单，外地county,法庭太远了,不准备去了。
如果written declaration去argue,是不是以后就没有traffic school选项了？
如果直接付钱认罚，然后怎么样才能得到traffic school的选项?上traffic school就
会是不回额外涨保险吗？ |
