前一阵子蒙Luckyjim推荐电影《Margin Call》，找来看过，觉得非常不错，可以拿来
骗包子。跟奥斯卡的联系嘛，可以说有以下几项：
首先，演员之一的Kevin Spacy，可是两届奥斯卡得主，应该是可以跟奥斯卡挂上钩；
其次，这个电影的题材，关于华尔街，自然会想到奥利弗•斯通的1987年的经典
《华尔街》，当然也是奥斯卡片，所以拿来骗包子算是名正言顺，云云……
当然，我喜欢这个电影的原因之一是喜欢这个电影的题材，华尔街和金融。我原先对于
这个题材并不感兴趣，就算是看过了斯通的《华尔街》以后，也没有感兴趣起来，原来
在中国学理工的时候总是对于金融很不屑。真正对于这个题材开始感兴趣，还是在读过
一些书以后，小说和non-fiction都有，其中，对我影响最大的，应该有以下几部：
《Cryptonomicon》，Neal Stephenson的近千页的砖头小说，从二战中的密码破译，到
后来的互联网络的电子货币，战争，黑客，太平洋战争，欧洲战场。加密是其中的主题

Amgen?) found that only 5-6 chemicals showed some kind of effects from a
final most potential list of a large screen of chemicals that had been
claimed effective in publication.

关于bt的积累毒性我想说说。蛋白类的toxin一般来说是不符合积累毒性的标准的，因
为他们在体内的代谢非常快，不会造成chronic exposure，也就不会造成chronic
toxicity。据我所知，没有那种蛋白toxin会造成chronic toxicity（如果有，请告知
）。具体到bt toxin，消化模拟有人做过，不过如你所说，这个试验有缺陷，不过即使
bt蛋白不会被降解，也会随着粪便排出体外，不会进入内环境造成chronic exposure；

这种纯粹的毒理试验现在是不可能批准的
大部分的所谓的human data都是类似于epidemeolocial 的统计分析，而不是真正的
trial 做出来的
FDA／EMEA／SFDA等regulatory agency 评估一个trial的最最重要的因素是risk／
benefit ratio， 其中safety重要性又是在efficacy之上
所以，单独的以发现toxicity为endpoint的trial不可能被批准的
要打擦边球也是前段时间吵翻天的那种黄金大米的类似的trial， 而这种类型的trial
， 不可能实现前面所说的60年毒性测试。
总结一下，目前的毒理学测试就算是long term toxicity，以及genome toxicity 也没
有达到这个帖子里面要求的测试程度， 不是说proposed的不好， 而是不practially

low dosage, so you don't see the toxicity effect. A lot of the drug
approval is political, for example, we know the pharmacology of MDMA very
well, and it will probably finally be approved for PTSD treatment. Also,

cured with chemo. Of course, most of them die in 1 year. Fortunately your
mother's cancer is very sensitive to chemo and she is considered cured with
just a few cycles of chemo by reading your post. I would still recommend to
follow up with doctors in next couple years as cancer do come back. By the
