i was in the tournament 2 years ago, there was one Mongolian team, and they
had a really big guy on there team. 6'5, at least 230 lbs. when they were
playing the CCUC dragons team, the dragons fouled him really hard, everytime
he touches the ball, dragons fouls him, and many fouls wasnt called. refs
did nothing. finally the big guys blew up, 2 teams started a brawl. even the
dragon's coach(60 year old man) went into the court and started |

What I meant was, as the rules had been set like that to all teams, players
should live with it, be flexible to adapt it and play.
For example, one can make a foul, let the opponent team shoot the free throw
(s) and change possession.
On the other hand, I just made an remark that this kind of play was very
common both in soccer and basketball. No matter under what the rule it is,
the leading teams always try to do this kind of play.

玩特别心痒痒。但就是下不了决心去。因为我从来没打过Live Tournament, 第一次打
就拿$12,000去拼, 太不符合我的discipline了. 就这样一年一年纠结着过去了。 2009
年戒了online poker之后连Main Event电视都不看了，免得看了心痒痒。不过我觉得我
还是迟早会去体验一次的，就看哪一年心血来潮愿意扔$12,000进去赌然后又有空。 |

发帖数: 100 | 36 今天玩疯了，下午连玩三场万人tournament。第一场玩得太好，以至于后两场开赛了还
没输掉。后两场前后只隔10几分钟，结果在屏幕上同时玩三场，头大！最后名次依次是
110左右, 600左右，400左右。其中第一场是我的最好成绩。最后是一对J call all-in
，死在一对A手里，筹码从$140000左右掉到了$50000，然后有点自暴自弃了。其实，第
一场的过程非常dramatic。我先是稳步到了10000多，一手居然输到1000多，set输给顺
子，真是没天理。我后来几个double up回到8000，再到12000，又逮住一个人double到
24000多，然后起起伏伏，一路冲到140000多。这是我玩到过筹码最多的一次。其中我
两次对A preflop raise 3X 没人call，一次flop后straight flush小bet居然也没有人
call，伤心啊。倒是AJ之类的赢了不少。
同时玩三场的时候真乱。我尽量focus在第一场，另外两场就是迅速作decision，居然
一直在赢，不管all-in还是small pot。可惜我第一场要是在hang on长一点，真有 |

发帖数: 4816 | 39 首先，ICTPA-TX以及我个人都非常感谢参赛的10对共20位选手的积极参与，并都在周六
8：30之前全部到场。
时间一过8：30，大家就都很快的开始热身比赛了。比赛基本上是按照比赛的schedule
的赛程顺序来进行的。首先进行的是小组内的循环赛。每一对选手，在这一轮比赛中，
都进行了4场的比赛。这一轮结束时，时间也就差不多中午12：00了。大家都在球场上
high了一上午了，都饿了。这时候，去买Pizza的两个后勤兄弟也把Pizza买回来了。
随后大家是一边吃Pizza，一边观看接下来的两次同时进行的semi-final比赛。Semi-
final的比赛一结束，天气突变，大雨即将来临。Final的两对选手刚刚开始比赛，就被
大雨给浇黄了。
The Final的两对选手初步计划周日（Nov 10th）在Sugar Land进行Final match。虽然
在Rice的比赛由于天气原因，没有赛出Champion，但也赛出了这Final的两对获得

发帖数: 251 | 50 这次比赛总共来了60多位羽毛球爱好者，算是我参加过的OSU tournament规模最大的一
次，比我们预期的人数多出很多。从UMich, UTenn, 俄州境内的其他学校/城市如
MiamiU, WrightStateU, Cinncy, Wooster 等各地来了不少高手。对中部羽毛球的水平
有一定代表性了。让人眼前一亮的是，各地前来的颇有一些金发碧眼的年轻人，还有其
他一些球场上的"少数民族"，热情可嘉，表现也可圈可点。
比赛从早上11点持续到晚上11点，其间有些拖延有几个break。这么多人能在一天内打
完所有比赛，时间比较紧张，尤其是对最后进入决赛的选手，体力上无疑是非常大的考

男单（一共31人报名，最后将近30人参加比赛）
第一：Amod （OSU本土羽毛球celebrity，Indian，身体素质体力技术具佳；本地大小
赛事A组男单头筹基本都由他来拔；此次稍遇阻力，仍以大比分胜出；最近刚毕业，人
才可能要外流）
第二：OSU另一本土Indian学生，是近年来少见的能和Amod抗 |
