MM想扣球的队伍，一路过关斩将杀进决赛。结果碰到一个比我们还WS的队伍，两个南美
GG，带了个用来摆设的MM放在底线几乎不用，就打doubles, 而且其中一个左撇子非常
专业，后排扣过来我们都根本来不及反应，最后三个打不过两个。建议他们应该引用
reversed coed规则，规定一下以上过网MM至少触球一次，否则就是men's double open
tournament. |

1. All five teams are in one pool and will play round-robin. Each team
captain will pick a number from 1 to 5 when arrive at the gym (DuPont court,
Zesiger Sports Center). The first game will start at 9:30AM.
2. Each match in the round-robin consists of two games with 25 points and
win by 2 points (the cap is 29, which means when the score is 28:28, the
next point will decide the winner of the game).

The first round is a preliminary round to decide divisions. SHTJ, Flying
Porcupines, Early Bird Red and Early Bird Blue advanced to Division A.
Karma 1, Harmony 1, Karma 2 and Andover TGIF settled in divsion B.
Boston United 1, Harmony 2, Boston United 2, Early Bird White and Fu Dan
United falled into division C.
In Second round of division A, SHTJ won all 3 matches to grab the champion

interested? I know a lot of people are playing sc2 instead of sc1 right now,
and some people are doing both (me for example), and some could play sc2
but more focusing on sc1 (otter and alu for example)...now that iccup is
down, I think it is a good opportunity to have a sc2 tournament, 1v1 2v2 or
even 3v3 I think we have enough people for all of these. What do you guys
think?? |

在技术方面多说两句。你得第一名的这个，牌的确很好，不过如果你在初期在５５上面损
失过多，我想这应该是技术上的问题。５５这种牌，如果你要看flop,就一定要cheap,所
以如果table很aggressive的话，在early position就应该直接fold,在late position可
以limp in，可能你是late position去steal blind了？那就不好说了，不过早期的话我
想应该尽量避免这种marginal situation. T7那把，是我的话大概也不会打，如果要
raise,我就在flop raise。
另外，我觉得好像standard raise for AA is 3x big blinds. raise 5x的话，我觉得太
暴露了。

我是chip leader at the table，about 9000 chips, average is 4000, i was in
early position, 我拿AK offsuit，I raised to 1200, 只有在button的老头call，he
has 7000 chips. flop来了 A(diamond), 5(club), 6(heart)，我bet500, 他raise
to 1000, 我all in，他call, 亮牌后他是A10 suited(club), turn是个4(club)，river
is 10(diamond), I lost. 我想看看大家的意见，这是纯粹unlucky还是打法策略上有

satelites.
Second hand in play picking up AK in big blind, everybody folded and small
blind completed. Not sure what hit me, I push all in 1500 with 20/40 blinds
totally expecting a fold. Freaky SB called with limped AA and I was out
like donkey.
With thousands players, could easily lose patience maybe I have suffered
enough from satelites. But it's very important to have patience, escepically
in early
stage. |

it only helps you to get familiar with the game rules (if you are not yet),
the site, how to bet/raise/fold...
discouraging but the fact is, be prepared to lose $500 or more in the
beginning. yeah, it sucks but it's the tuition everyone pays UNLESS you're
already an old gun.
i would suggest:
1) at least read some books, like "super system" or "dan harrington on
holdem (tournament)";
2) watch how others play for a while.

发帖数: 486 | 40 My Bintang Tournament this time was pretty intense since Kate and I signed
up for DMD and BWD. DMD we lost in con semi-final to 2 nice guys. It was fun
to play with them, our score was 20-20, and they chose not to set, but
stupid me, I served short, and they end up serving for the last point, and
win. During the afternoon, we played BWD, and there are only 3 pairs total.
We didn't do well in BWD this time, we lost both matches. But both matches
we got to 3 sets.
