McDermott AMEC 这样的大公司把topside部门整个裁掉，多少civil/structural PHD/
PE 做鸟兽散。 |

tieback实在。
美国的offshore应该差不多了，除非开采阿拉斯加。欧洲，非洲，南美和中国南海还是
有项目的，但是多数不需要houston的技术人员支持

engineer，一旦项目没了，公司不愿支付overhead，他们就面临被裁的风险。 |

比较新，很喜欢，就去triple A 做了车检，结果说对于topside engine oil leaks 那
一项说是valve cover seaping，这个引擎的气门有点渗油，这个问题严重吗？还请高
人指点~
还有power steering fluid 有leaking from rubber cooler line，这个问题严重吗？
基于以上问题，这个价位，这个条件的车，大家觉得值吗？任何建议都欢迎，谢谢啦~~

I have a 93 civic EX 1.6 vtec. 118K. Auto.
Car has had this leak since I got it. It seems to have a wet spot on the
passenger topside of engine. Almost like it could be behind the
thermostat housing. It seems like it could be coming from under the head
but the car runs fine. No white smoke or oil in antifreeze or vice
versa. The sensor bolted to thecyl. head next to the intake manifold
(what sensor is that) seems to have some coolant on it.Does this sensor

你们还是学生么？
说实在这些东西在大多数it company 没什么用， 工作了的（至少我自己）很少有兴趣
去看， 倒是 design pattern. tools, tcp, apache. 等等这些domain knowledge 跟
工作直接相关，zhi直接有效，自觉看得多。
不过domain knowledge 换个工作就没用了。 |

看见有人说湾区收入高就笑了，给你们科普一下，猴子屯，13-15w年薪非常普通，20w
以上的一大把，加上公司100% match 6-12% 401k， 公司服务到退休有一次性上百万的
pension，还有一周工作四天一周工作五天，每年5周vacation，加州风景再美，这些能
比吗？

底比一般的ballet flat要厚一点，所以更舒服。
我反正是非常喜欢，符合我吊儿郎当的形象……
要注意的是底一定得不硬，不然鞋子不跟脚，会磨脚后跟
还有鞋面的材质要软，边缘要裹得圆滑，不然也会磨脚。
我有一双minnetonka的，就是软得不行，买完第二天就穿着暴走去了。也有一双sperry
topsider的，鞋底弹性不够，穿了两个夏天还是不跟脚。 |

Flow assurance
Pipeline/riser
Subsea system
Drilling
Geology
Topsides
etc.
下游的工作这里也很多，设计炼油厂一个大项目都要上几十上百号Process Engineer. |

4。就招一个， 做加拿大次北冰洋的hebron项目,休斯顿做fixed jacket topside的人
大把的, 可见多么稀缺的位置。基本上也得做的特别牛的才行.

仅评价工资，60万人民币工资肯定不算高的，他们如果招到你，肯定是捡大便宜了，以
小博大。我国内的本科同学当总工拿工资做结构的比这个高的多了去了。
换句话，如果你有8年钢结构经验，到Houston当油工，设计topside,找对地方，你这个
经历，也该有这个12-15万美元了。
话说回来，工资不高不等于机会差，国内找对地方，发展的机会和这边不可同日而语的
。这些我们这种外人根本无法评价的。 38岁还能赌一把，不成再回美国呗。 |
