类仅限于Spaghetti和Macaroni。上大学的时候，系里长期流传着这么一种说法：对于
我们所学的知识，大一的时候“不知道自己不知道”，大二“知道自己不知道”，大三
“不知道自己知道”，直至大四“知道自己知道”。其实，这个转变的过程对于任何一
个领域大概都是适用的吧。了解和学习的过程也是让人谦卑的过程，然后才会有所长进
和不断成熟，对人、对事（包括食物！）大抵都是如此，一直在“大四”之前的状态游
荡的自己，继续努力学习:)
手头有一本《Four Seasons Pasta》，每个季节都有时令性的食谱十几个。这本在图书
馆淘的旧书是我的第一本专门讲Pasta的菜谱书，最开始的介绍部分当时给了我很多收
获，下面要分享的不少东西都来自于这本书，剩下的就是东看西学的一些零碎体会了，
记录下来作参考。
首先要聊的自然是意面，我没有做过手工意面，所以只说干面条。高质量的面条是一道

过程：tftp 刷ddwrt成功，然后刷tomato成功。然后再刷ddwrt vpn失败。然后用tftp
刷ddwrt和tomato都失败。
目前：改用asus专用recover工具刷tomato成功，但是刷ddwrt怎么都不行。问题是，
tomato需要用户名和密码，怎么也登录不进去。telnet链接失败。
求教，怎么办？

前后分别接入网络测试速度,用的speedtest
刷tomato的下载和ping值就是比刷ddwrt的好,上传倒没什么区别
有个问题,之前是WRT54G 刷的ddwrt版本
有个主机在路由器后架设了web,mail服务器,使用freedns afraid.org的服务,将域名定
位到我的服务器, 我在本地网内,用域名能访问这个主机
现在换了路由器之后,不管是刷tomato还是刷ddwrt的,本地网内都无法用域名访问这个主
机了,很奇怪啊,我都是用的最基本的设置
有大侠知道我哪里没有设置对么? |

假定你的tomato的/opt 下mount的了一个drive，并且ipkg也装在这个drive上了就直接

echo "LABEL=optware /opt ext3 defaults 1 1" >> /etc/fstab

上一步做完后，可以装ipkg了, do this:
cd /opt

for the taking (Brandywine, Hillbilly, and several other varieties). I'd
love to see these go to low-income families or a non-profit, but if you just

PPPoE 设在DSL modem 里，Linksys router：DHCP模式
然后一根网线从modem里出来链接Linksys WRT54GS router的4个switch口的其中一个
（不是 internet口，如果接上，反而上不了网），另一跟网线接router 剩下3个
switch口的其中一个，这根网线再接laptop, 能上网没问题。无线上网也没问题。
问题是：在有线上网的情况下，输入router 的IP 地址，访问Tomato界面，就不可以了
（显示：Network Timeout，The server at 192.168.3.1 is taking too long to
respond.）。只能拔掉链接modem 的网线，然后重新启动router，此时输入router 的
IP 地址，访问Tomato界面就可以。
新手不懂，请指教。确实不能同时进行吗？还是我哪儿设置错了？谢谢拉

我也是WRT54GL，历经 ddwrt mini->tomato->ddwrt vpn->tomato dualwan->ddwrt
mini
最后感觉就是在ddwrt上调整QoS比在Tomato上用vpn要容易。不折腾了。 |

2.TOMATO 或是 DDWRT 的韌體

直接用TFTP 或者ASUS的Firmware Restoration 在router RESTORE模式下直接刷就好了
我的520gu和n16都这么刷的 你现在已经用tomato load在上面 直接用tomato的update
firmware功能就可以刷机器了
原生的TOMATO对520GU和500gp没有USB支持
不过你可以去下Teddy Bear Mod的版本 就应该支持USB了 http://tomatousb.org/download
500gp应该是R1 核2.4 2.6都可以用 不过用2.4 stable的就好 别下NOUSB的版本就好
用2.4 std的就应该没问题的 |

没有做任何改动就可以打印了，port 是事先就设好了）
刷 toastman 是因为看了doctorbear 推荐 toastman。懒得去比较别的版本。另外，因
为打算使用 vpn，所以刷的是（tomato-K26USB-1.28.7493MIPSR2-Toastman-RT-VPN.
trx and tomato-K26USB-1.28.RT5x-MIPSR2-083v-AIO.trx)。
是不是 teddybear版也能满足这些要求 （vpn client, USB, PPS, VOIP, BT)? |

后来也试出了这个办法。现在的情况是连上打印机后，tomato界面里能显示打印机了。
但是打印时还是不能传到打印机去。
又刷回 ASUS 的firmware(3.0.0.3.78),没有任何问题。ASUS的界面里能显示打印机，
打印也没有问题（所以在计算机里打印机的设置应该没有问题）。
是不是tomato里面还有什么没有设对（好像也没什么可设的了）？还是tomato不支持
samsung 2510?
也试了 shibby版，同样的问题。 |

我想router B (tomato) wireless bridge连 router A, 而且router B有自己的SSID,
可以供某无线装置连接。最重要的，router B的四个LAN插孔可以连其他有限设备。
tomato里面的选项用哪个？是wireless ethernet bridge吗？但是这样好像没有自己单
独的ssid.
我记得dd-wrt有一个这样的功能，不知道tomato可不可以 |

client 在被dhcp 分配地址的时候，dns永远被自动指定为：192.168.1.1 (就是路由器
本身)
如果我在LAN上有另外一台server(比如：192.168.1.2)用作DNS,
我怎样设定，才能让tomato dhcp时，让所有client 的dns都指定成192.168.1.2呢？
也就是说，client通过DHCP得到的IP设定是这样的：
IP: 192.168.1.xxx
Gateway: 192.168.1.1
DNS: 192.168.1.2 |
