I've lived in Beijing and Shanghai both for more than 5 years so I can say
with authority that in general the Beijing people are far nicer, friendlier
and with a much better sense of humour. They're also far less obsessed with
money. For lots of Shanghainese, money is the only topic they have any
opinions about.

三种人源化单克隆抗体的混合试剂，由于是通过一种类似tobacco的植物生产，产量是
瓶颈。有在恒河猴身上的动物实验，用在感染后5天都能显著保护恒河猴使其康复。结
果发表在最新的nature杂志上。感觉是属于很solid的科研成果。给美国最开始报道的
两个病人治疗，据说效果很明显，第二天病人就有很大改观。但是因为库存量不够，总
共七个病人使用，两人死亡（其中一人70岁以上）。需要更大样本的clinical trial。
TKM-Ebola
基于RNA干扰的药物，针对病毒的三种基因，但是有造成flu-like的症状的副作用，一
人使用后康复，后因为上呼吸道感染入住Boston的医院。需要通过静脉注射使用。FDA
部分暂停了TKM-Ebola的clinical trial。CDC主任Dr. Thomas Frieden的评价: "it
can be quite difficult for patients to take" and "can actually make someone
sicker."股价应声大跌19%。
