基于以下几点，我们继续建议买入Tivo：
● Tivo对Comcast 的争端仍旧占有优势，和谈仍旧是最有可能的情况。
● 12月有传言，有多家基金有兴趣并购Tivo，并购价20 。
● 以上两条可以认为是两个calloption, 即使都没有发生，Tivo仍旧是一个2美元
earning的公司，5%红利，合并完全完成后，收入可以继续增长每年5%，而毛利率也有
可能进一步上升。这样的公司按目前不到7倍的动态PE市值来说也是偏低的。
自ITC裁定Comcast侵权Tivo知识产权以来，Comcast移除了相关X1 app录像的功能，并
表示会继续上诉。我们注意到几点：

recorder that is not based on monthly subscription like Tivo or dish DVR.

replaytv uses proprietary operating system, and record in plain mpeg2 format
replaytv models before 5500 have commercial advance function, which involved
itself in a lawsuit against tv network giants. replaytv later declared
bankruptcy and sold to denon.
both record on hard drive, and have many ways to be hacked, such as adding new
hard drives. however, service fee is required and no hack available. |

box, it is cheaper.
I have Fios, my TV does not support cableCard but I have a Tivo box that
supports it so I rent 2 cable cards for the Tivo box.
Since Tivo charges me $130 a year, and 2 cable cards at $8 a month, it is
just as expensive as the set up box with recording option. But I prefer the
Tivo interface a lot better and having 2 cableCards allows me to record 2

另一个影响接收效果的因素：电视机的型号
现在基本上美国台都是数字型号了，如果是老款电视机的话，就必须要加一个数字转模拟型号的机器，才能看，不然是看不了的。
