BEIJING (AP) — China says overseas groups are distorting the truth about a
clash between Tibetans and police in a politically sensitive region to
discredit the Chinese government.
The official Xinhua News Agency cited a Foreign Ministry spokesman as saying
Tuesday that one Tibetan was killed and four others injured during Monday's
clash in Luhuo county in southwest China. Hong Lei says order has been
restored in the region and that the authorities will act firmly to fight
crime.

Tibet.
There are two classes of Tibetans. The Buddhist Priest/Monks and some
aristocratic land owners who were about 3% of the Tibetan population and who
mostly now all live in Dharamsala in India, and the Serfs and salves of
Tibet who made up the 95% of Old Tibet's population. Their stories will of
course be entirely contrary to one another. Most of the sites on the Web are
sites supported by the Dharamsala Tibetans. I |
