不贴文章了。这就是NY TIMES。
简单意思就是，政府没有提前通知homeless要来，抱怨的人全是中国移民，他们抱怨，
说感到不安全。然后话锋一转，中国人就是排外，黑人homeless虽然不理解别人为什么
讨厌他们，但是宽怀大度，白人政府官员表示移民都是好的，要包容。这是在说种族还
是移民？这是说不工作的人！讽刺的是，最后又来一个中国餐馆老板说“给他们一个机
会”。意思是前面抗议的人都是小肚鸡肠。
这就是“主流”媒体实际的态度。当然，见怪不怪了。 |

《自然》(Nature)杂志网站上发表的这项研究是斯克里普斯研究院(Scripps Research
Institute)的科学家们开展的.该领域名为合成生物学(synthetic biology)，涉及为特
定目的创建生物系统，目前还处于萌芽状态。
斯克里普斯研究院的研究人员使用化学方法，生成了两个新的核苷酸，称为X和Y。他们
把一对XY导入常见的大肠杆菌中。结果细菌可以正常地复制，虽然速度比平常稍慢一点
，但确实可以像复制天然的核苷酸一样复制X和Y。文章提到，在15小时里，只完成了大
约24次复制。
因此，这个细菌的遗传密码有六个字母，而不是原来的四个，而细菌生成的新的蛋白质
，可能会以完全不同于自然生成的蛋白质的方式发挥作用。研究人员还没有证实，人工
核苷酸可以真的被细胞用来生成蛋白质。那需要对细菌进行更多的遗传工程改造，尽管
其他人之前的研究显示这有可能办到。
由于植物中的叶绿体可以从周围组织导入核苷酸，而其他研究人员已经找到了控制这种

虽然我没有去过美国，不过说实话并没有很想去美国，其实我还挺喜欢中国的生活的。
或许这里的绝大部分都是在北美生活的，所以自然而然想到美国生物博士的出路哈，留
言的很多热心人我是很感激的。
现在觉得在香港本地或者内地找个工作都不错的，就是看看如果不走学术科研道路，还
有什么别的路好走吧~~
