其实，感觉2013年算是电影的小年，没有什么让人特别期待的东西。不过这周会继续上
映一部颠覆童话性的作品。就是OZ国历险记。小时候，记得看过日本拍的绿野仙踪，对
里面的稻草人我还是很害怕的。我其实很怕娃娃啊，木偶啊，人偶啊，那一类的东西。
小时候，我连木偶剧都不敢看。一旦看了，晚上就一定会做噩梦。一个个木偶，挣扎着
往我怀里跑。希望今天晚上不要做这样的梦。我小时候，还做过另外一个非常恐怖的梦
。等下次有机会再跟大家讲吧。对了，今天应该是谨祝生日快乐，
万寿无疆，财源滚滚。

什么 八里街 摇滚明星 十字路口 之类的。反正就是傻逼变牛逼不得不说的故事。
但是这个真格八景是个电影，有故事有人物的。情节还挺曲折，真实的反映了
广大摇滚青年在追求艺术女神过程中遇上的种种苦恼障碍。
Terrence Howard is pretty good in this movie. 好演员。稍显正直了一点，
但是方便大家自我带入。不愧是我们pimp界的但泽华盛顿。 |

别老吹牛，搞点实际能用的东西，大家都会appreicate.

我以前一直很fan Terrence Sejnowski的那篇Science, 这片至少现在还没什么实用价
值，不过思想深邃。在哲学上他的目的是想说生物对自然的随机信号有一个滤波机制，
所以它们其实更喜欢自然(随机)信号的刺激。实验非常简单，一个试验就够。
上次puppeteer说这个paper试验有些问题，但是我很喜欢这个idea.

你用规律的信号刺激神经细胞，神经细胞给你一堆垃圾noise反馈，
结果他反而用noise输入给神经细胞，神经细胞却给你精确有规律可重复的反馈，
说明细胞其实最喜欢的不是人造的规律信号，反而是充满随机的noise的自然信号，
细胞里面有一个intrinsic滤波，把自然中的随机滤掉。你给它规律的方波它反而
不知道怎么办。这基本已经到了哲学层面了。
整篇文章就一个实验，一个下午就可以做完了，两张图，两页纸，这才是神作。 |

省下时间都是社会活动。
不过牛人不坐办公室，不等于他们平时的时间就没有思考数学问题。

loser们大抵分两类，
一类是心甘情愿承认自己是loser（比如俺自己）。
还有一种是这里的大部分发帖子的phd。 这群loser们不大愿意承认自己是loser,造出
一个外星人的标准，然后说凡达不到这个标准的都是loser。这样就得出大家都是loser
的结论以用来意淫。比如这里不少sb phd们把terrence tao也归为loser。 |

You can check the citation number of Terrence Tao for instance. Of course another important factor is who are citing your works. If you get citations from first class mathematicians, it is an indicator that you have got a fine piece of work done.
I agree that it does not make sense to compare the citation numbers of people from different areas. But it does make sense to compare it for people working in the sa |

这和物理界评价体系不同,物理只管影响力的,一个写下本质规律方程的人最伟大,费尽
力气解方程的人得到的credit很少
