Well, obviously some new technologies do "create some new fields", but not
all the new technologies do - some others make existing ones obsolete.
For example, telegraph and telephone did "invade" into the traditional way
of handwriting-based communications, and make it almost obsolete.

板说虽然有些人technical方面很好，但是考虑到这些职位都需要经常做presentation
，参加meeting,和写report，长远考虑以后还要管几个人，不能招英语太差的人。几个
telephone interview语言还过得去的中国人来onsite后，又因为communication skill
给刷下去了，普遍在interview的时候带动不了气氛，没给人一种pleasant的感觉，没
让人感觉到容易交流相处。
本来觉得我们几个中国同事语言和communication skill不太好，跟这些中国人
interview candidate比起来一个个都算是很出色的了。现在招人真的不缺CNS，不缺
technical强的人，最后分胜负的多半是靠语言和communication skill。同学们别光顾

loads on this system. I say it is 'old' just because most people use DSL (
ADSL) modem for data service now. The 1.6k carrier frequency system is what
they call POTS (Plain old telephone service or Post Office Telephone System)
. This system takes 300 to 3400 Hz to transmit.
I don't know how they transmit 64kbps non-compressed speech source in this
